Question: Do small countries have spheres of influence?

If they do not , then:

Are spheres of influence simply "Might Makes Right"

If it is Might Makes Right, then

Should not the US, Russia and China threaten or pummel one another until one country emerges victorious?

Do we need a pissing contest?

Unfortunately, and much like China, Russia's 'Sphere of Influence' is much of its former Soviet territory. Such guarantees will serve as a green light to Russia later on.

Russkis got the biggest willies at the moment but it doesn't mean they can piss the highest. Put RaPutin, Paddington Bear and Sleepy Joes in a boxing ring to slog it out.... the winner takes all. No, that's a BAAAD idea.
