Simulated Exercise Allows US Officials To Wargame A Missile Attack And See The Devastating Consequences Of Their Choices

The Guardian: ‘15 minutes to save the world’: a terrifying VR journey into the nuclear bunker

Nuclear Biscuit, a simulated experience, allows US officials to wargame a missile attack and see the devastating consequences of their choices

It became clear that things had gone terribly awry on this particular day when I saw that the most moderate option on the desk in front of me involved killing at least five million people. I could kill up to 45 million if I chose the more comprehensive of the alternatives laid out on three pieces of paper, but it was hard to focus on the details because there were people shouting at me through my earpiece and from the screens in front of me.

I was experiencing what a US president would have to do in the event of a nuclear crisis: make a decision that would end many millions of lives – and quite possibly life on the planet – with incomplete information and in less than 15 minutes.

No. It's not even meant for such. It's a controlled experiment 'game' done by a University in collaboration with others as a way to survey results. It was directed at low level officials across the board.

So no. Biden or any senior official would not participate.

Not to mention the unusual method of naming Russia on the sheet as the aggressor, rather than OPFOR.

Far be it for Joe to observe or participate in a war game to acquire knowledge.

The hands of the atomic clock are where they are and we get Kamala's giggles and Joe's whatever. Kamal was really great holding the the cable of an electric car charging up like she was at a gas pump. What a maroon.

The nuclear war has to be nice: Missiles have to take care of the nap of Joe Biden. And as soon as he is awake he needs more than one day to fight the evil missiles. A good speech with reading the punctuation will make the missiles going back to their countries.

I don't trust that Biden would act logically and correctly in such a scenario.
