Looks familiar? You sure? Is it because it has a flat top and an island. Maybe it is, because the Plan Type 075 has a hull. It must be copied because, they are using the Archimedes Principle, lol!

Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier have two islands. If the Chinese Type 075, I might say it was copied.

American carriers copied British armored deck and angle. The Americans would have copied the ramp on carriers, but did not because they had money and did not want to use Harriers. Otherwise they would have copied it as well.

The American M1 A1 has or had a German main gun and British armor.

Early Soviet tanks had a suspension system designed by an American engineer.

Any good military copies what looks to be workable or optimal instead of always trying to reinvent the wheel. It is one reason why there are military attaches or observers in foreign countries. The Brits had military officers tagging along with General Lee at Gettysburg taking notes.

Physics alone will force convergent evolution.

Sorry but a person would have to point out a few to half dozen or dozen systems or subsystem to show or prove slavish copying.

If they copies, so what? The Japanese copied Portuguese and Dutch firearms. Then in isolation they started making really good improvements. Copying and going on from there saves research money. So once export controls or other controls have been overcome, it is time to reassess their capabilities and limitations and not underestimate your opponent.

Very good website

It is about physics, engineering, & operations. It is so apparent, you do not have to copy or steal plans. Once you make a few choice, many other follow automatically.
