WNU Editor: Both US Senators Rand Paul and Roger Marshall are doctors, and they clearly have lost confidence in Dr. Fauci.
Rhetoric aside.
The release of these emails and his reluctance to answer questions pertaining to have definitely harmed Dr. Fauci's reputation .... House Republicans Release Damning Fauci Emails Suggesting Concealed Knowledge Of Lab Leak (Zero Hedge).
A prediction.
The odds strongly favor Republicans winning the House and Senate later this year in the mid-term elections. If that happens, expect both chambers in Congress launching investigations on how the administration and its health experts, Dr. Fauci included, handled this pandemic.

Fauci is 81. He is not a politician in the manner of Ted Kennedy or McCain, who leave office when you pry their cold, dead hands form it. Well, do ultra high level bureaucrats consider themselves politicians?
Fauci is 81 and has the best all time straight-up federal pension of all time. He does not want to retire?
Fauci is 81 and he has had the time to train a protege or several or two dozen. Fauci is not so smart that he cannot be replaced by a protege?
Consider skill degradation. Many professional associations have training to counter skill degradation. Part of that is a scam to fund the associations. However, the reasoning is not made out of whole cloth. There is something to it. So do not tell us how smart Fauci is. He is not anymore. Which one of his investment in government monies or personal investments in health paid off? Skunked!
His investments in health have not panned out. His track record in government is a failure. He is not a great scientist, but he hangs on. He must be there simply, because he loves politics and his faction is in power.
He loves politics and he has no hobbies or outside interests. If he retires, he becomes a nobody.
For him is being a p0oltical operator or retiring a fading into the distance as a rich, very rich nobody.
Fauci is not good for America.
Cult leader Fauci was mildly challenged and lost his cool. If he actually faces a serious investigation, does he lose his Cult leader status? Thus far we can't dare question him!!
Senators Marshall and Paul are doctors. I would have to research Dt. Marshall. Dr. Paul's record seems impressive. I would trust him over Fauci.
Amen on these 3 comments. I have nothing to add on this old fool or his old fool boss Biden.
Doctor Oz is a doctor too
so too my podiatrist
Fred your podiatrist has the same first 2 years of training as other doctors. If you knew more about medicine and biology you would not try to be so glib and fail at it.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Rand Paul, who touts his career as a Kentucky eye doctor as part of his outsider credentials in his campaign for U.S. Senate, isn't certified by his profession's leading group.
He tried Monday to bat away questions about it by calling it an attack on his livelihood, saying the scrutiny stems from his challenge of a powerful medical group over a certification policy he thought was unfair.
The libertarian-leaning Republican helped create a rival certification group more than a decade ago. He said the group has since recertified several hundred ophthalmologists, despite not being recognized the American Board of Medical Specialties -- the governing group for two dozen medical specialty boards.
Questions about Paul's certification as an eye surgeon first arose in a story published Sunday in The Courier-Journal of Louisville.
Freddy won't answer questions!
Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican, took the Senate floor almost 10 years ago to condemn financial conflicts of interest plaguing Washington. “People should not profit off of their involvement in government,” he said. “They shouldn’t profit off of special relationships. They shouldn’t profit off of special knowledge they gain in the function of serving the people.”
Paul shared his thoughts as the Senate debated legislation that became the Stock Act of 2012, which barred most federal officeholders and employees from “making a private profit, of any nonpublic information derived from their positions.” The law was meant to curtail rampant insider stock trading on Capitol Hill, but not everyone took the new law to heart — including, perhaps, Paul himself.
Paul disclosed Wednesday, and the Washington Post reported, that his wife bought stock in Gilead Sciences Inc. — the maker of a drug billed as a possible Covid-19 treatment — on Feb. 26, 2020, “before the threat from the coronavirus was fully understood by the public and before it was classified as a pandemic by the World Health Organization.” Paul is a member of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions, which the Trump administration briefed in January 2020 about the coronavirus.
Paul disclosed the stock purchase 16 months after a 45-day reporting deadline mandated by the Stock Act had lapsed. His spokeswoman said he prepared the disclosure last year but learned only recently that it hadn’t been filed. She also said that Paul’s wife, Kelley, lost money on the investment, which was initially worth $1,000 to $15,000.
Many details remain murky, but what is abundantly clear is that financial conflicts are alive and well in Washington. And the cure still eludes legislators.
Fauci is not certified by anybody. That is a perk of being a lifelong bureaucrat.
Get the degree and coast!
