The two discussed regional security issues, agreeing on continued close cooperation in the area.

IDK Jon, I've mentioned that WNU is a spy. I've done the same with my spouse. My spouse hate the uniparty of the homeland, but don't you ever talk badly of the homeland. Like my spouse it could be as simple as that. Or he could be a spy. A lot of spying is open source. The KGB used to read Aviation Week and Space technology. Why not.
Most people (myself included) whether they believe they are high minded are irredentist to some degree. That is what we might be seeing.
