The Charlotte Observer: Guerrilla war exercise to be fought across rural North Carolina counties, Army warns

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A “realistic” guerrilla war will be fought across two dozen North Carolina counties in the coming weeks, with young soldiers battling seasoned “freedom fighters,” according to the U.S. Army.

The two-week “unconventional warfare exercise” will be staged Jan. 22-Feb. 4 on privately owned land. And it will be realistic enough to include the sounds of gunfire (blanks) and flares, the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School said in a news release.

Exact times, locations and exercise specifics were not provided.

However, advance publicity is intended to make sure civilians — including law enforcement officers — don’t mistake the fighting for terrorism or criminal activity, which has happened in the past.

WNU Editor: While researching for this post this announcement caught my eye .... Justice Dept. creating unit focused on domestic terrorism (AP).

I think it is a coincidence but the timing of both announcements is interesting.

A lot of times when there are rebellions against governments it is due to what they did or did not do and not because a a group had a wild hair up its ass.

Remember law #1

In China there would be droughts and incipient famines, but the imperial court was concerned, observant and effective at providing relief. Other times the court was slack, incompetent or so busy infighting that famines continued unabated. Then the court had to face rebellions.

North Caroline piedmont is interesting. They train Green Berets. Many of the locals know of the Green Beret training exercises and are in on it. These locals overall support the military and government. They are not paid, but they help out from time to time. That is authority.

The government loses its authority when it rails against groups. Hitler railed against Jews. He lost his authority over many of them, when they fled overseas. Democrats rail against White people. Identity politics is railing against white people and the more effective it is, the more the government alienates people and loses its authority with some groups.

The government loses its authority when it enacts draconian global warming laws (increasing the cost of living), resorts to racism or tries to centralize government control by fiat with COVID controls.

Think AGW predictions are right? It has been 33 years and the doom they predicted has not come to pass. They predicted 6 degrees. Then they backed off and are predicting 3 or 4 degrees. If someone predicts 1 degree, they try to tear them apart. Why? Because would you tank the economy and impoverish people to "save" them to prevent a degree rise?

The US Army training fighting against Americans. This makes me sick. The leaders of the military starting with "China" Milley must be replaced.

The linked article's headline is a bit click bati-ish. When I was in back in the early-mid 00's this was a part of our training and even before then. Naturally it occurred in a specific state and was near Bragg, like these exercises.

They mentioned that pre announcements about these exercises have been occuring since 2002 when there was an incident with a local deputy. These days with the current pentagon/admin not that much surprises me but I just wanted to add that little tidbit.

This is a typical survival type training which has been going on for many years and our current Government including our politically motivated Generals are trying to use to strike fear in the hearts of Americans. Will it work, he asks....

That is exactly what is going on.

My MP unit from Fort Bragg participated in these exercises regularly in the 80's. Great training. Troops all loved it. Getting away fom the CO and 1st Sergeant :)
Working in the towns, meeting girls, nice food, what could be better for a training exercise?

They would participate in it whenever possible, never ending list of volunteers!
