President Joe Biden said Americans should not be worried about nuclear war with Russia after he was mocked for guidelines recommending Americans social distance and mask in the event of a nuclear blast.
The comments came despite Russian President Vladimir Putin putting his country's nuclear deterrent forces on high alert on Sunday in an escalation of tensions with the west after attacking Ukraine last week.
'Should Americans be worried about nuclear war?' a reporter asked Biden during a White House event Monday.

So, if Joe is not president, then why are we listening to the old gaffer?
If they are, we are. Means all subs, all ships will be at sea. If he uses a tactical nuke in Ukraine all bets are off.
Putin will nuke a site in Ukraine and the radiation will travel to Poland, Sweden and beyond. Putin will say: "What are you going to do about it?"
Poland can go to the ICJ and Russia will ignore it.
