Russian President Putin Says Western Sanctions Are Like A Declaration Of War

Daily Mail: Putin says Western sanctions are 'like a declaration of WAR' and threatens to treat any country declaring a no-fly zone over Ukraine as part of the conflict as Zelensky appeals to Congress for help

* Russian leader Vladimir Putin issued a series of bloodcurdling threats of war with the West on Saturday

* Kremlin despot called West's economic, diplomatic and cultural boycott tantamount to a declaration of war

* He also called a potential third party declaration of no-fly zone over Ukraine 'participation in armed conflict'

* Ukraine's president has lashed out at NATO powers for refusing to impose a no-fly zone over his country

* NATO rejected calls, saying a no-fly zone could provoke widespread war in Europe with nuclear-armed Russia

* Russia is waging a 'war of terror' against civilians after attempts to rapidly capture Ukraine failed

Russian leader Vladimir Putin has escalated his rhetoric in his confrontation with the West, saying that sanctions against Russia are tantamount to a declaration of war and threatening to treat any country that declares a no-fly zone over Ukraine as part of the conflict.

The threats came as Moscow's brutal assault on Ukraine saw a mass civilian evacuation from the city of Mariupol derailed when Russian forces ignored a promised humanitarian ceasefire and continued shelling the southern city.

Putin had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day in Ukraine today. And he is free to consider the sanctions as acts of war because that is what they are.

And I do think a no-fly zone over Ukraine is probably going to happen at some point.

The barbarism of the Russian invaders in beginning to sicken and infuriate the entire planet.

The question to Putin is, "are you gonna launch your nukes?" Belarus said no today, so it's all on Vlad.

I don't understand the Biden administration: when Russia went at war with Georgia, G.W. Bush send "humanitarian assistance" to Georgia with military assets and said any act against it will be an act of war. Russia didn't take a chance and retreated. Why the Biden administration is not able to do that?

Enough surface to air missiles is the same as a no fly zone.

I'd have thought Biden would have sent in the Marines to protect his families business interests, not to mention the Clinton's & other Democrats. heh heh heh. Keep ducking 🙈

Translations matter. Like an act of war isn’t the same as Is an act of war.
