TASS: Mobilization in Russia is not on the agenda — Kremlin spokesman
Earlier, State Duma member Mikhail Sheremet had said Russia should declare mobilization for achieving the goals of the special operation in Ukraine
MOSCOW, September 13. /TASS/. Mobilization in Russia is not on the current agenda, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media.
"At this moment - no, it is not on the agenda," Peskov said, when asked if the authorities were considering full or partial mobilization.
Earlier, the media carried reports State Duma member Mikhail Sheremet had said Russia should declare mobilization for achieving the goals of the special operation in Ukraine.

WNU Editor: The current conflict is being waged on multiple fronts. There is the war on the ground in Ukraine, and there is also an economic war between Russia and the West. And while many in Russia are pushing for a mass mobilization, I do not think it is necessary because the manpower is there, and the system is already in place to call up reserves if necessary. Another reason why mass mobilization is not on the agenda is the damage that it will do on the Russian economy at a time when many in the Kremlin believe they are now winning the economic war against the West.
