Whatch navalmovments. If the US plans to do anything they will start a slow concealed build up of forces.

For ground forces. The 101st being deployed is one. They are also sending another armor division to Europe. Supposedly the one there will be rotated home. If battle is a foot, that home bound unit will not be going anywhere
..So you will have two armor divisions in place.

Concealed, but you tick them all off.

Ok let me re- phrase

concealed build up.

The way it is done is piecemeal. Little by little step by step. The 1st unit in usually gets the big press. (101st)

then not making a big show, they slowly increase forces.

Just like the armor division rotation... (was that well publicized?? No)

and the armored unit to return home, will probably be "delayed" in returning to the US.

This was done in Gulf 1 and 2. By the time most of the unit deployment info got out to the public, most of the units were already in county or in transit.

This concerns the big units that cannot be hidden. The SF guys, bombers and cargo AC are usually dark.

Its why you also watch naval units. Big deployments of ships or unexpected ships going out to sea is another sign.

If the Russians plan to do an offensive in the next month or two....

and Nato is considering a counter attack or even a. "counter inner Ukraine defensive line set up" to set up a "safe zone"

US forces will start moving now. Which in some cases, they are.

Hope this helps

and no, I do not have a copy of the TPFDL

This was done in Gulf 1

That was pretty open. Commander of my unit was passed over twice, because he was at HQ stepping in toes 2 or 3 ranks above his to get over there.

It was on CNN 24/7. Saddam was told to leave Kuwait. He did not. Instead he attacked Saudi Arabia. There was no secret. George H.W. Bush went to the UN t get its approval. He built up a coalition that included Jordan, Syria, Egypt., Saudi Arabia, UAE. Bahrain, Qatar and others.

No concealed build up. Sure the US has a lot of planes and ships but it still takes awhile to move things 1/2 across the world.

Russia has problems moving across the border, inside its borders. or 30 miles from its borders.

Sure when WNU beats his chest and talk of the hundreds of thousands of mobiks and regular army people being sent to Ukraine I am concerned. What makes me less concerned is the Russians have poor logistics and gear.
