Here’s a look at the cold and dirty reality of the Russia-Ukraine War.
In a scene straight out of ”All Quiet on the Western Front,” shocking footage posted on social media Saturday shows at least four Ukrainian soldiers stationed in muddied trenches, braving brutally cold elements as they await the invading enemy.
Two of the four stand in makeshift living quarters created with debris overlapping a portion of the trenched area, as rifles and empty water bottles lay in the muddied waters nearby. Other areas are covered with patches of snow.

WNU editor: The above story is very different from this media narrative .... Ukrainian soldiers built a sauna inside the trenches and this was the result (Jerusalem Post).

Regarding that Jerusalem Post article...ya can't make this shit up without it sounding like satire
A person can die at any moment and they are criticized for smoking cancer sticks or building a sauna. It would take a real Karen like the one above to so criticize.

a fob is something you have when fighting a guerilla war. A fob is not totally safe. they get shelled. but if you swing it, why not have a relatively safe place between patrols?
Those poor, misled russians impressed into service by Putin's thugs were given 3 shovels per 100 men and were told to dig in on a cold morning without hot coffee.
