I dug onto this a little bit. I think the title is misleading. Is this on purpose?

I see 4 carrier groups. The Vinson looks like it is off of San Diego. That is hostile red territory (sarc). The Vinson is conducting training for the air wing and ship . In peacetime in 3 to 6+ months they will deploy, but they are not deployed. While not deployed they are not down from SLEP or a maintenance availability. They could be headed west tomorrow, if need be.

Amphib groups are not the same as CSG's although, if the F35s are more capable than harriers, it starts to blur the line.
