Joe Biden has launched a task force to investigate how US and western components are ending up in Iranian-made drones being used to wreak havoc in Ukraine.
Despite strict export controls in place to prevent Iran from obtaining such materials, evidence has emerged that Tehran is finding more than enough commercially-available tech - including US-made microelectronics - to manufacture the drones.
UK-based investigative organization Conflict Armament Research found last month that, upon examining drones downed in Ukraine, 82 percent of their components were made by companies in the United States.

You cannot enforce sanctions on the world when you no longer manufacture nor control the flow of trade and capital. Single-use medical equipment is the last effective tool since a large amount of it is produced domestically and the demand is constant. Tech and other sanctions can be worked around quite easily.
The middle men could have accidents. If it happened about 10 times, people would stop dealing with Iranians front companies as much.
If you are going to interfere with American elections and assassinate American presidents, why would middle men be off limits?
Because the middle man can be a nuclear armed state with 1.5 billion citizens.
Which a good reason to take out the middle man.
And a good reason for the 85% of the world considered middle men to take out the mad tyrant.
Maybe it was in one of the barrels of cash they flew them
