24 C-17 Transport Aircraft Were Airborne In A Matter Of MINUTES!

Talker: U.S. shows off chilling warfighting capabilities with aircraft launch

The United States has made a chilling demonstration of its warfighting capabilities.

Twenty-four huge military transporter planes were launched on Jan. 5, in what marks the largest launch of C-17 aircraft ever from a single base.

WNU Editor: CDRSalamader's analysis in the above tweet is spot on.

Sending 24 C-17s in the air in a matter of minutes is impressive. But let's discuss the a fact that we have ZERO strategic lift aircraft under production or design.

The last C-5 came off the production line 34-yrs ago.

The last C-17, 8-yrs ago.

Sea lift is a bigger question there are no liberty freighters out there any more. Besides the mercy hospital ships is there even an auxiliary sealift left. Aircraft can not feed the war, carrying missiles, bombs, tanks, trucks…

Also. The Air force is very protective of these planes. Over protective, really.
The Aircraft's usefulness is really hampered by this philosophy. They do not like sending them into active war zones

They can always commandeer the civilian fleet.

Yeah that is called CRAF

already though of.

There are mothballed ships for sealift as well. No idea how long it takes to bring them up to speed. 6 months? year? Faster than building one from scratch
