David Ignatius reports in the Washington Post:
In algorithmic warfare, using a digital model of the battlefield, commanders can penetrate the “fog of war.” By applying artificial intelligence to analyze sensor data, NATO advisers outside Ukraine can quickly answer the essential questions of combat: Where are allied forces? Where is the enemy? Which weapons will be most effective against enemy positions? They can then deliver precise enemy location information to Ukrainian commanders in the field. And after action, they can assess whether their intelligence was accurate and update the system. The “X factor” in this war is this Ukrainian high-tech edge and the ability of its forces to adapt rapidly.

This is nothing new, but it gets better as time goes by due to the progress in technology. This is also working just like in Croatia...US advisors and pmc are doing the Intel and staff work
Uniqueness, individuality, randomness, and free will can all be modeled and predicted.
Free will is not randomness. Someone missed some philosophy classes.
Some of the best things about my philosophy professors was that they were committed to their profession, used the tools of their trade and did not let you know their political persuasion.
Compare that to Krugman who once h got to the NYT started shooting from the hip and did not use the tools of his profession.
