Reuters: Poland says Germany refused talks on World War Two reparations
WARSAW (Reuters) -Germany has rebuffed the latest push by Poland's nationalist government for vast reparations over World War Two, saying in response to a diplomatic note that the issue was closed, the foreign ministry in Warsaw said on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the German foreign ministry said it had responded to a letter sent by Poland on the subject in October and did not comment on the contents of diplomatic correspondence.
Poland estimates its World War Two losses caused by Germany at 6.2 trillion zlotys ($1.4 trillion) and has demanded reparations, but Berlin has repeatedly said all financial claims related to the war have been settled.

Polish Jews ought to demand reparations of about $1 trillion dollars. But they can’t because all the polish Jews were killed by NAZI Germans and willing Polish collaborators.
The Poles put up barricades. Once the barricades were breached and the Poles surrendered, they pointed out their fellow Polish Jews.
The Jewish Resistance in Warsaw and the main Polish resistance did not exactly collaborate and it was not from the Jews lack if trying.
When the Poles had the Warsaw Uprising they did to the Poles what the Poles had done to the Jews.

Germany has already paid. Poland is being buttheads about it. If Poland wants more, then maybe that can be arranged as soon as Poland gives up the land it took after WW2.
Why is not poland asking for reparations from Russia? Russia is the main inheritor of the USSR, the USSR attacked and dismantled Poland.
Russian Reparations: If Poota and the oligarchs are still in charge this is a must.
If they are ousted, I would look for a strong Russia with 'minimal' reparations. I would not have Russia give reparations so much that it starts circling the drain, that would be counterproductive.
I blame the Mongols for this mess (I am not kidding).
There is really only 1 thing I want from Russia. It is not money, land, women or war.
