Russia Installs Pantsir Systems In A High-Rise In Central Moscow And One At The Ministry Of Defense

WNU Editor: The Pantsir missile system is a self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system. It provides point air defence of military, industrial and administrative installations against aircraft, helicopters, precision munitions, cruise missiles and UAVs (link here).

I am not surprised that these systems are being deployed. There has been a lot of chatter on Ukrainian social media sites recently that Ukraine should start launching attacks against targets in Moscow.

Very accommodating of Russia to announce the locations of these two anti-aircraft/missile batteries. Now to what purpose is this announcement? And are two batteries going to protect Moscow?

You are not surprised? I am very surprised.

Moscow was exempt from the old ABM treaty. The intel back in the day (soviet) was that Moscow was an ADA nightmare for any missile or aircraft.

To see that the Russians are now installing more ADA in Moscow is disturbing.
Maybe this is just because of the new advent of small drones. Hopefully so.

Because the alternative is scary. Which is...they are preparing for a major assault.
