Moscow's adversaries have long aimed to destroy everything Russian, the FM has said
The current situation in Ukraine demonstrates that the conflict between Russia and the West can no longer be defined as a “hybrid war” but is instead approaching becoming a real one, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.
Speaking at a press conference following a meeting with his South African counterpart, Naledi Pandor, Lavrov also noted that this “almost real” war was something that the West “has been preparing for a long time against Russia.” The minister claimed that Western powers are seeking to destroy everything Russian, from the language to the culture that had existed in Ukraine for centuries, even forbidding people from speaking their native language.

Hybrid wars were and are always real.
The only benefit of a hybrid war is that they can be hidden form the public for a timely the chattering class to the assumed or supposed benefit of the political class.
About the only war or fighting most people want is a school yard fight, MMA or professional sports. so they do not keep up on the in and outs of war or any new innovations much. They do, but is more catch up compared to what others know.
Last thing Russia needs right s a direct war with nato… they can barely handle Ukraine and they haven’t even seen a f-35 yet.
Well, The Rusikes finally woke up and officially let us know that they smelled the coffee.

The Russians are half stepping and have been since February. It has been their greatest failure of this war. If they would just go in with full force, this situation would be a lot different
