Moscow Times: Russian Defense Chief Says Military Factories Working ‘Around the Clock’

Factories in Russia producing military equipment are working nonstop and have withdrawn New Year holidays from employees, the head of state defense military conglomerate Rostec Sergei Chemezov said Monday.

“Rostec’s factories involved in fulfilling state contracts are working almost around the clock and their staff are showing self-sacrifice and understanding in relation to the increased workload,” Chemezov told state news agency TASS.

WNU Editor: Before Christmas most of Russia's military factories were doing 12 hour shifts six days a week. In the past week it looks like everything has changed. I am now reading reports, including the one above, that these factories are now working 24/7.

Putin blowing up the world will be a favor, because the world really has become something stupid and boring, we live in times of self-indulgence and acceptance, dangerous utopias and murderous ideologies, the great corporations enslave us and we only realize after we look into the past.

Those shifts are stupid. I have seen mandatory overtime. Workers complain about it. They make good money but after 3 or 4 months, what use is the money, if you never get to spend it? You miss enough weekends and you miss life.

There being a war on makes things different and people's attitude would shifted more to plus side. Still do you want people working 12 hours a day and 7 days a week? That could be hazardous in a ammo factory. the welds not being good on a tank do not matter so much, because the Ukrainians are going to blow them up anyway. Should be fun for pilots though.

The welds may be bad, but as we used to tell the troops. Soviet stuff is junk, but it is dangerous junk.

I hope also Russia is building satellites to monitor Ukraine troop movements and movement of precision batteries, so they can take them out. I do not know if Russia has this capability,
