Ukraine Presidential Adviser Hints That There Will Be Attacks On Major Russian Cities

Ukraine Presidential Adviser Mykhailo Podolyak. president.gov.ua

Daily Beast: Ukraine Predicts Attacks on Major Russian Cities

Ukrainian authorities say Russia’s biggest cities are bound to suffer attacks as a result of the Kremlin’s war against Ukraine.

“Internal escalation of the war in Russia is inevitable,” said Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian president.

“Cities that are pampered, lazy, that thought they lived in a different reality, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yekaterinburg, will be subject to strikes,” he said, stressing that Ukraine itself has no plans to carry out such attacks.

WNU Editor: The Kremlin has responded .... Kremlin spokesman Peskov responds to Podolyak’s prediction of ‘military escalation inside Russia’ (Meduza).

What is not being discussed is that if Ukraine does launch missiles at a city like Moscow, Russia's early warning systems will detect it immediately, and it will be interpreted by Russia's military and the Kremlin as a nuclear missile attack on its command and control centers. I need not say what will happen next.

Wnu nonsense, you make a bold assumption that it will be intercepted and if the Russians can't detect or differentiate a drone or long range himars rocket attack from a nuclear strike then 🤔...
Ukraine is referring to internal sabotage from within Russia, the same guts that jave been blowing up railway lines and gas terminals etc

You wipe out armies and the cities fall. The Ukraine will be attacking military airfields, depots and other MILITARY targets deep inside Russia.

What a bizarre and nonsense comment from the WNU, especially in light of Russia putting up anti-missile defense emplacements in some of their cities, something he's commented on. It really is just fear-paranoia on his part, and shows where his mentality is at.

IKR, I've been a quiet visitor on this page for years now. its obvious where WNU's loyalties and bias' lie. The fear mongering driven by his own fears and visions of war etc and his obvious support for Russia against the western world. I've no doubt at some point soon he'll remove the ability to comment on here again and blame Google. I wonder if one of his many secret 'friends' would know if RU can actually detect the difference between certain missiles incoming let alone any intelligence that may of been gained way before launch? Probably... Probably not.

You guys are all like you have had brain implants. Say the same thing without any merit in it.

Those people are worried, of course they are. You don't think those fat slobs a snowflakes in NY or LA would not be whining if they were threatened? Of course they would.

You can detect missiles all you want, but even the iron dome is not 100%. And most ukie commanders in the field have complete control of their targeting process. These weapons and there use will be the start that breaks the camels back

And I will be content with that. Time to stop the idiocy and put an end to it one way or another. I am not for a nuke strike. But some of your here definitely deserve it. So if I die I can be content that you are wiped from the face of the earth.

WNU editor has his bias as we all do. but his bias comes from the people he talks to in both countries. Not reporters, propagandists, government mis- leaders PR firms ect. That is why I value his input. He will be wrong about some stuff, but I do not trust at all what comes from reporters, propagandists, government pukes, HR or PR jackasses. So I come here. My biggest complaint with WNU editor is he thinks stories from WaPo, NY times, CNN is newsworthy and not what it is, the pushing of a singular government narrative that is always harmful to we the people. Anyways, Ron

I've been reading this blog for over 10 years and it is one of my "go to" web sources for a point of view that is not slavishly pro western. True, lately the author has been a little over-the-top in his opinions and fears concerning the outcome of this Ukraine war, but he is a human being like us all, and it is true that NATO and the rulers in the West have put us all in a very dangerous position with their meddling in Ukraine, which is the real cause of this war. I am the opinion that the rulers in the West are psychopaths who care not for their lives of their citizens. The people of the world have been careless and allowed a very bad group of people to take control. The West is so corrupt on so many levels it is only a matter of time that the whole rotten structure will come crashing down, with untold suffering all around for everyone. The author of this blog does a fantastic job overall and we should be grateful he takes his time to assemble these news stories from around the world, giving coverage to stories that the corrupt Western media is ignoring.

Agreed.

What he does here is very important. It helps stop the "echo chamber" syndrome.

Once again there is a distinction between WNU Editor's comments on a story, and what the story actually says. Podolyak's comments are cryptic, but he clearly indicates that 1) Ukraine will not be attacking Russian cities, and 2) it will be "military escalation inside Russia" "by internal means related to protest."

To me, he seems to be indicating internal dissidents inside Russia will begin to engage in some kind of strikes or sabotage or terrorist action. I have no idea if such things are possible, but it seems a vague warning indicating Ukraine knows something is happening. But not that Ukraine itself will launch strikes against Russian cities.

Yet in this post and a later one, WNU Editor seems to ignore what is actually said and stalks about Ukrainian conventional missile strikes at Russian cities which will lead to nuclear war.

It's simple. If you kill one of their political leaders then the moratorium on not striking ours will be lifted. World leaders across north america and europe will have to give up foreign travel and spend the next couple years inside the bunker, as will Russian and Chinese.

Big win for the rest of us tbh.
