Information suggesting that Chinese spy balloons traveled over the continental United States during the Trump administration was "discovered after" former President Donald Trump left office, a senior administration official told Fox News.
A defense official on Saturday said Chinese spy balloons briefly traveled over the United States at least three times during the Trump administration.

Trump administration. In response, former Trump administration Defense Secretary Mark Esper told CNN on Friday that he was “surprised” by that statement.
“I don’t ever recall somebody coming into my office or reading anything that the Chinese had a surveillance balloon above the United States,” he said.
Former President Donald Trump also said on Truth Social this week that reports of Chinese balloons transiting the US during his administration were “fake disinformation.”
The Biden administration official now says the incidents were not discovered until after the Trump administration had already left. But the official did not say how those incidents were discovered or when.
CNN reported on Sunday that the Pentagon had briefed Congress of previous Chinese surveillance balloons during the Trump administration that flew near Texas and Florida.
Rep. Michael Waltz confirmed in a statement to CNN that “currently, we understand there were incursions near Florida and Texas, but we don’t have clarity on what kind of systems were on these balloons or if these incursions occurred in territorial waters or overflew land.”
This screams damage control by lying and deflecting.

Some where there is a report. Austin has seen it. Instead of getting 2 factoids of information dribbled out like it is falling from a demented liberal's mouth. They could have released in 15 minutes what they will take a week or two weeks to do?

1st they claim that balloons invaded American airspace 3 times. Well that got refuted partially. Civilians like airline pilots would have seen it. there are thousands of flights every day and not all pilots are sleeping or messing with the staff. Some will notice.
So...
2nd they trot out that it went over part of Texas and Florida (or near them). If it was brief, then maybe that is why no airline pilots noticed?
How long will it take liberals to let the facts dribble out of their mouths and know the tracks of the Texas and Florida incursions? Sooner or later it will happen and then they will say that we got Trump.
Not exactly . If these were minor incursions, better than 50/50 odds that Milley or others did not tell Trump.
Which means this is really on them and not on Trump.
