Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his government is considering sending its Iron Dome to Ukraine.
The Iron Dome is arguably the world's most advanced missile defense system, designed to intercept barrages of rockets and artillery shells.
In an interview with French TV outlets TF1 and LCI broadcast on Sunday, Netanyahu was asked about sending the missile defense system to Ukraine, in response to the country's continuing appeals for military support.
He told the interviewer: "I'm looking into it. I said I'm looking into it and I'm doing just that," echoing a statement he made to CNN last week.

Iron Dome is suppose to be better than the Patriot. The US I think paid for part of its development. Did Israel share everything?

Netanyahu is making the correct call. WNU be damned. Sure the "Soviet Union rump state" has a lot of Jewish citizens and so plays nice with Israel.
But if the Russia-china-Iran-North Korea axis wins, Russia will be more concerned with pleasing and dealing with Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabi, Jordan, turkey, Egypt and others than Israel. It won't matter how many Jewish citizens that Russia has or that moved to Israel.

Iron Dome and Patriot have had different levels of research. At times Israel is bombarded daily. Palestinians have also fired mortars and rockets to try to deplete Iron Dome ammo. The Israelis realized this and so poured in a lot of research into it.
Israel is threatened every day. The US is threatened every day, but it does not appear imminent to many. Also there a competing programs for funding. So to repeat there have been different levels of research done.
