Issues and Insights: Nearly Two-Thirds Say They’re Worse Off Than Two Years Ago: I&I/TIPP Poll
On Tuesday, President Joe Biden will deliver his second State of the Union address, making the case that the economy has done well under his leadership. That will be a hard sell to most Americans because, as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, a solid majority say they are worse off financially than they were two years ago.
The online I&I/TIPP Poll asked 1,358 Americans a simple question: “Are you better off today than you were two years ago, or not?” Possible responses were “Yes, better off,” “No, not better off,” and “Not sure.” The poll, which was taken from Feb. 1-3, has a margin of error of +/-2.8 percentage points.

Well I'm an American small business owner. All my expenses are rediculous and last year sucked. Demand is there but it's tougher to make a profit. Oh yeah I'm in a democratic state that isn't too business friendly (small and large)
there is no correlation with the USA tax system and the government expenditures which speaks to an academic and media that has successfully dumbed down the USA population.
When you look at this ratio of folks whose lives have been made worse by Democrat policies, there is no correlation there because you see them getting elected and re-elected. I wonder if that speaks to a corrupt election system. Ron
In the last 2 years my salary increased by about 1/3 the rate of inflation so a big fat NO.
My 401k lost around a fifth of its value in that time. My personal portfolio tanked and lost about a third of its value in that time (tech heavy - still mad at myself).
Finally, I am a renter looking to own but average home costs increased by 30% in that time and interest rates did too which means homeownership is much further out of reach...as an American I consider this a big measure of financial health.
Of course if democrats keep censoring Republicans they will get what they want. The fascists will always step out of line and use the system as a cudgel and then get mad when their political opposition does it. They cant defend their policies, they only persecute and censor those who who question them. Republicans dont censor, cancel, persecute, make overt terrorist threats to their colleagues and the public, send their murderous and destructive mostly peaceful nazis to the homes and offices of those they dont like, and accuse everyone of raycisms(TM) to avoid conversation. Your Government Wants to Keep You from Seeing Voter Rolls
If you cannot check the voter rolls, then how can a reasonable person assume that elections are fair?
I have always assumed there was cheating. I figured cheating to be in the realm of 50,000 to 70,000 per state based on previous historical events. That was naive of me, but should person have to spend as much time polticking as a private citizen as they do making a living?
I figured that cheating was about 4 orders of magnitude. It is more like 5 or 6.
The corruption indexes are wrong. Th US should rank closer to Russia.
A little more of the border invasion and our life expectancy will be that of Russia and then by all reasoning the corruption index should equal that of Russia.

The street I live on has been closed for the past YEAR cause of a growing in the middle of it and the city can't be bothered to fix it. They keep raising taxes but they can't fix anything in a timely manner. Shitty economic 'policies', systemic corruption on every level of society, failing infrastructure and partisan policing entities such as the IRS and the ATF.

Of course not. Unless you received about a 15 to 20% raise to compensate for inflation you are losing ground
gas currently 3.20 a gallon meat, eggs, prices are high.
Also quality of life.... essential services are slowing down , the government is becoming more intrusive. and there are sporadic shortages in many parts of the logistics flow such as machine parts , house supplies that you may need.
So, no economically life is getting tougher.
Worse off as everything costs 8% more but our raise was 3%. I warned my community this would happen under Biden and now they no longer mock the Trump era.
Started when covid hit and got worse under biden. the idiots at the federal reserve need to stop raising rates
I have money, savings, and a great job and a also a government pension. I am not as well off as 2 years ago. Nowhere close. We don't domuch travel, eat out a local restaurants once a week and that's about it. I paid $17.00 for 2 cartons of eggs on Saturday.
