U.S. Warns China Again On Supplying Weapons To China

Reuters: Any China lethal aid to Russia would come at real costs, U.S. says

WASHINGTON, Feb 26 (Reuters) - China has not moved toward providing lethal aid that would help Russia in its invasion of Ukraine and the United States has made clear behind closed doors that such a move would have serious consequences, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Sunday.

"Beijing will have to make its own decisions about how it proceeds, whether it provides military assistance, but if it goes down that road, it will come at real costs to China," Sullivan said in an interview with CNN's "State of the Union" program.

China has not moved forward in providing that aid, but neither has Beijing taken that option off the table, Sullivan said in a separate interview on ABC's "This Week" program.

U.S. officials have warned their Chinese counterparts behind closed doors about what those costs might be, Sullivan said, but he would not elaborate on those private discussions.

Update #2: Jake Sullivan warns that China giving Russia lethal aid would be a 'bad mistake' -- Washington Examiner

WNU Editor: No details have been released on what those U.S. measures would be if China supplies Russia with weapons and ammunition, but I would assume it would involve sanctions, trade and financial restrictions, and providing even more military support to countries like Taiwan.

By 2040 Asia will account for 50% of global GDP. Wealth and power are inexorably shifting east and the US cannot prevent this.

America is in terminal decline and is just one nation among equals.

Comrade Xi and the heroes of the CCP will do as they please. Mao's mission to rebuild China is in its finishing touches.

Thank you, Comrade Xi, for your tireless efforts.

The US is going to have a hard time coming to terms with the fact that they don’t rule the World anymore. If Taiwan can call itself independent from China, and we recognize it, why can’t we recognize Donbass and Luhansk as independent?

Threats, threats, threats. All the US Biden Administration is threaten any nation who dares to disagree with the confrontational US policy and dare to act accordingly. Am I the only American tired of hearing US threats? Especially when carrying out those threats will mostly harm the people of the United States in the long run. How far the US has fallen, once it was the hope of the world, now it is the bully of the world. And the cowed people of the US are more or less unable to effect any change against the entrenched monsters who now control this nation.

It's ok for US to sell arms to Ukraine but not ok for China to sell arms to Russia. Do as I say, not as I do. China will say fuck you to that.

Repeat after the troll "Do as I say not as I do." Such a pithy aphorism misused by a ass kissing Russian troll with a new and improved brown nose.

If America ruled the world, why is it that no American company can own more than 49% of any Japanese company?

If America ruled the world, why is it that no American company can own more than 49% of any Brazilian company?

Maybe 11:36 should do less rimming the boss and more researching the facts.

Quite some difference. People of Taiwan have no desire to join China…as noone in Donbas wanted a Russian steamroller destroying everything either…

1:58 is a liar or is ignorant. I believe the former to be true.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Taiwan

Taiwan was not conquered by the Chinese. It was conquered by the Manchu in 1683. The Manchu held it for over 210 years until the Japanese took it by force.

Before the the Qing conquered Taiwan it had been held by Ming rebels. Before that it was held by the Dutch, who took it from the Spanish.

It was Chinese until the Kuomintang. Annexed it after the communist party swept through China. I don’t like Trudeau or his fascist party but it doesn’t me the right to annex Vancouver Island and call it a free state. Sorry bubs
