Battle For Bakhmut -- News Updates March 6, 2023

Moon of Alabama: Why Bakhmut Is Falling

Just two days ago I reported that Bakhmut is falling. The Ukrainian soldiers there are outgunned 1 to 10 and die under artillery fire with little chance to shot back. More reports from the front have since come in. They support my dire view.

The German pro-Ukrainian news outlet Bild reported this morning that there were misgivings in the Ukrainian war leadership:

President Volodymyr Zelensky and Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi have conflicting views on how the military should handle the situation in Bakhmut, according to unnamed sources within the Ukrainian political leadership cited in a report by Bild

Bild writes that Zaluzhnyi was deliberating a tactical withdrawal from Bakhmut weeks ago over concern for the wellbeing of his troops. The Ukrainian government told Bild that remaining in Bakhmut was the right decision due to the serious damage it inflicted on Russian military personnel and equipment. However, according to other sources cited by the publication, the situation is at risk of becoming untenable.

"The vast majority of soldiers in Bakhmut do not understand why the city is being held," a Ukrainian military analyst told Bild on condition of anonymity. Just hours after that item came out Zelensky's office issued a press release denying any such trouble (machine translation):

WNU Editor: The video below gives a very good indication on how difficult it will be to flee Bakhmut via throught the fields and forests that are to the west of the city.

Read the article and just like we said last month.
The Russians were using Recon -in -force missions.
Platoon or higher size units. Move out , get shot at, fall back and bomb with arty.
Rinse and repeat.

Up the anty. Move Wagner in. This causes the ukies to move more foces into zone. More food for the meat grinder.
It's been an ugly couple of months, But now you understand why the Ukrainian causulty rates have been reported as being so high. Not as much the Russian side.

Horrific video shows Ukrainian POW taking one last drag from a cigarette and saying 'Glory to Ukraine' before being executed by Russian troops in 'heinous war crime'

Russia needs to be broken up in to several smaller countries. We cannot have this toxic masculinity nation.

The Nazis are surrounded, good. The west is getting desperate and will soon make a move to escalate this conflict beyond the borders of Ukraine. Can’t wait to see the pics of burning leopard tanks in the coming weeks

We did the same thing in Iraq and Afghanistan you ignoramus, I was a part of it. Stop pretending the west is so innocent.

Russians have suffered 40,000 casualties trying to provide a propaganda headline for Putin for the anniversary of the invasion.

And just a reminder. Bakmut was Russian-held turf before the UKR counteroffensive pushes of Summer 2022, when all of the Russian forces were driven out from north of Kyiv and in the northeast of UKR. Bakmut was the high water mark of that push, on its right flank.

Another take:

Wagner and the red army do not play and work well together. Troubles with resupply of ammo and such.

Wagner is losing more men than they have vehicles to evacuate them. They're getting almost an unlimited supply of Russian convicts. Wagner commanders are ordering fighters to exit the trench and "Get those Ukrainians" - if they hesitate or turn around, they shoot them. Second choice is go forward and die by direct fire.

Now there's a problem with that too, Being that the cannon fodder convicts have guns, the quickest way back home is to kill their officers. Make it look like he died in combat. So no officers go near these men. The Russians are starting to bomb the Wagner fighters in their trenches.

This all smacks of USSR vs Finland.

Nobody believes you and no country since Germany in WW2 have acted like the modern Russian military…their will be trials and many Russians will eventually be convicted of war crimes…

Your absolutely out of it. NATO has been bombing and conquering countries for decades now. You have a bad case of Russophobia, simple as that.

Lol ok.no country has tortured ppl like Russia has… bombing electric grids in the hope that it freezes millions of civilians to death? Doesn’t get much worse than that. I could go on but it won’t do much good.remember people Russians only see gov. News and info…rest of us see worlds news and views and social media sites unfiltered. Big difference right there…

Anonymous said...

They are bombing the grid so the military can’t utilize it.

A Putin passing on from natural causes will be no more at rest than a Jew buried in a Muslim country.

In short, he will have no permanent grave after wasting so many Russians. He will walk the Earth.

Keep dreaming. More wishful thinking from another Russophobe

Yea it’s won’t hurt the millions of civilians depending on it for heatπŸ₯΄…. Lucky it was a warm winter and their plans failed.

The war would have been over last April had the west not torpedoed the negotiations. The only reason this conflict is still ongoing is because of western weapons and funding. The more the Ukraine fights, the more they will lose in the end. Oh do please keep trolling though.
