* It reverses a two-decade trend where China has prioritized growth over defense

* Concerns are mounting that China is set to launch an invasion of Taiwan

China announced it will boost its military budget by nearly $230 billion this year amid concerns it will launch an invasion of Taiwan.

The money is set to 'boost combat preparedness and enhance military capabilities,' claimed Premier Li Keqiang ahead of a draft budget presented to the National People's Congress in Beijing.

Well, we have all our eyes on Chinese budget. That's sad because the treat from China is right now! Not from the future make with the 7.5 % budget increase. And we are not ready at all, especially when China see the best time is before the end of Biden turn.

The Chinese defense budget is less than 1/3 of the US defense budget but the US cannot compete against China. Something is very wrong.

I cannot make up with your justification that a bigger budget cannot compete with a lesser budget which is just lesser than 1/3.

what are you trying to make up? tsk tsk have your analysis check or if you cant find one go deeper check on yourself

I have thought about Wagner in Africa. All the news is bad The Jihadis are on the rise since Wagner took over form the French.

Wagner is in Mali. Wagner is losing in Mali against jihadis not as well equipped as those in Syria.

Wagner is crap.

There will be another coup in Mali to replace the current junta that is losing territory while working hand in hand with the Russians.

Just like the maker of this website china has no combat experience they are yet to see any combat for more then 75 years ,there power projection in asia and africa is weak over all the anything china has to offer is numbers of troops and there so call air force but that also has no combat experience
