Thursday's session is still scheduled to go on as scheduled, the official added. Jurors are remaining on standby and likely won't be notified about the plans for Thursday until Wednesday evening.

I was a part of several incidents that involved grand juries. The only reason a DA in Kali takes a case to the Grand Jury is because they have a weak case or they are protecting some part of the investigation from cross examination. That being said, one case was a green part DA charging a Police Chief with murder after his swat team killed a person. He got his indictment. When the judge got the case, he so demolished the DA's case that the family members of the deceased couldn't even sue the city. In other words, it was a lawful LE shooting but the DA used the process to drag the Chief and his family through hell.

More than half the case is the case made out in public to shape public opinion. The DA has definitely made case. This has been front page one off for over 3 months. There is an documentary on Netflix or Tubi or somewhere where a lawyer talks about public relations and how it affects case. Bing the case public as much as possible is like a military shaping the battlefield. It does the same things. One is done on some patch of Earth and the other is down in a courtroom and media-biome.
