Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin vowed on Wednesday that US aircraft will continue to “fly and to operate wherever international law allows,” one day after Russian aircraft hit a US drone over the Black Sea, forcing it to be brought down in international waters.
“This hazardous episode is part of a pattern of aggressive, and risky, and unsafe actions in international airspace,” Austin said at the beginning of a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
“So make no mistake, the United States will continue to fly and to operate wherever international law allows. And it is incumbent upon Russia to operate as military aircraft in a safe and professional manner.”

Milley is not exactly an imposing image of manliness and leadership. Honestly he looks scared to death all the time.
He is overweight and its clear he drinks to large excess. Look at the bags under is eyes.

I think I read that the Russians have possession of the drone. If that is true than this was a theft, more accurately a robbery. and these guys call it Risky and unsafe as if they were a teacher scolding an ill behaved student.
I do not want to be involved in this historical Hatfield and McCoy adventure but if American leaders are in the game, they should actually play it.
does anyone know whether the Russians salvaged the drone after knocking it out of the sky?
I haven't seen anything definite
I think the yanks grabbed it shortly after
Don't know. But what is the real story here.?
All we really know is that the drone was brought down over the Black Sea.
Was it really hit by the aircraft? Where is the gun camera footage? That camera is on 24 and 7 and transmitted in real time.
Did the drone have its transponders turned off? Well, you cannot see it on the flight path monitors, so I guess it did so. If the transponders were turned off, it can be considered a rogue aircraft??? Yes?? No??
The US has been doing a lot of turned off transponders lately. Strange.
