President Biden Responds To Iran And Saudi Arabia Agreeing To Restore Diplomatic Relations

WNU Editor: That is what I call "not answering the question". A part of me wonders if the US was even aware that these talks were happening in the first place.

The making of a major Middle East war is at play. The US and Israel can not allow this alliance. I bet Saudi Arabia gets hit by the US while Israel goes after Iran. If we can’t have them. Then nobody will.

" A part of me wonders if the US was even aware that these talks were happening in the first place."

Considering how much spying is going on against citizens by the FBI and CIA and how corrupt the State Department is, I have to wonder as well.

The son of Obama's Transportation Secretary was spied on by the government. The son and the whole family do not strike me as extreme or rock the boat type. So why?

I believe that 1408 is a troll. The US attacking Saudi Arabia? Any NATO countries sticking with the Us would be embargoed. After not getting Russian gas, not getting Saudi oil would literally be a death knell.

Many American journalists on the coasts are that jingoistic and stupid. I do not believe Obama is. Don't get me wrong. Obama is plenty stupid. He is not so stupid as to attack Saudi Arabia.

Well what else can the US do? They have to take MBS out or watch Russia and China soak up the energy market. What happens when the Saudis are emboldened enough to say goodbye to the West? Things are not looking good for us no matter how you cut it. Go woke, go broke.

What is there for Biden to say? The pace of de-dollarization increases weekly, and while it is his policies that are driving that, they’re not going to be altered because ultimately his concern is not for the American people.

The consequences of pushing the rest of the world into an anti-western bloc cannot be addressed without questioning the policies which all but guarantee it, and Vicky Nuland and Ant’ny Blinkin aren’t going to allow their policies to be examined critically.

why is there so much bullshit comments here and crackers unable to look a few things up instead of making up cdrap and posting as a comment when it is mere
silly tripe?

What color do we think is going to be chosen for the Saudi Arabian Revolution of Dignity and Gay Rights©™

Has to be green, right? Langley has all that leftover blue and yellow paint we can just mix it up ourselves.

note: we have a teet leading to a woman trailing behind Biden, who is leaving the stage, when she asks him his thoughts...no real president is going to give a carefully thought out response to news item in that place and those conditions and that time.
...and yes: he knew about the meeting in advance of its taking place so this post is just another try to make the president look bad. In fact, no answer is needed. should have also noted that Israel is now talking to Saudis too.

"why is there so much bullshit comments"

Why is the government spying on Congressman Darin LaHood? That is so 60s. Why is the government calling parents at School board meetings domestic terrorists and spying on them?

The CIA and State Department have a finite number of resources. If they prioritize things like spying on Carter Page and other people, it is reasonable what things the leave undone.

Personally, I am not going to research every story before commenting on it. I am still conducting research on train cars, train subsystems, and derailments, which is one topic that you screwed the pooch on. Although it made quite, quite ecstatic.

There are a fair number of Russian trolls here. Get use to it.

cuz the condition were what?

"note: we have a teet leading to a woman trailing behind Biden ... try to make the president look bad. In fact, "

Highly paid anchor of one of the Big 3, Sam Donaldson, use to do it all the time. Get over yourself already.

What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

"we have a teet leading to a woman ..." What does that mean? Are you drinking and looking at porn and then commenting here?

good to see you are researching the Ohio train wreck. did you discover how the Rr lobby got rid of regulations on breaks? did you find about the warning the day of the crash from rr workers on that train?
did you get the data on how many cars long the train was and how over weight and all this was noted and ignored?

Among the biggest relevant regulatory rollbacks Trump has conveniently remained mum over is the 2018 scrapping of a 2015 Obama-era rule requiring advanced braking technology on trains transporting particularly hazardous materials. That rule would have required compliance by certain trains by 2021 and others by 2023, but as Fortune reported at the time, Trump’s Department of Transportation decided that “the cost of installing these more sophisticated brakes outweigh[ed] the benefit.” While it has been noted that, technically, the rule would not have required the Norfolk Southern train that derailed in Ohio to have such brakes, some believe it would have if not for Trump. “He should be embarrassed,” Cynthia Quarterman, who helped craft the rule, said of Trump in an interview with Bloomberg. “Regulations force people to advance technology,” and if the train at the center of the derailment had had the advanced braking system, “there is no question the accident would have been less dramatic.” As Bloomberg notes, the Obama mandate, which was introduced along with a bunch of other new safety rules, would have forced trains to swap out what the then head of the Federal Railroad Administration likened to a “Civil War–era braking system.”

If that regulation (regulations not law) had remained in place it would not have prevented the train derailment. I beat you over the head with the fact and you ran away. ... only to reappear weeks later and start all over again.

The engineer(s) seem to have gotten 3 or more warnings and yet the train was not stopped until the 3rd or 4th warning.

So if engineers are not stopping train how are better brakes going to work?

It would be nice to recheck the cost benefit analysis by the Academy of Sciences. Obviously you are not going to run the numbers, because you and number don't get along. In general symbols for reading or 'rithmetic do not get along very well with you.

It would be beneficial to capture all cost associated with the 1,000 or s derailments a year to ensure a good database for a cost benefit analysis, Things do not seem to add up.

Was it sabotage? If people will poison water reservoirs, they will derail trains. I wonder what people could do with a torch. That would be very asymmetrical.

" Federal Railroad Administration likened to a “Civil War–era braking system.”"

Well you are a damned fool. But why say it. Everyone knows you are a fool. I remember a conversation with a RR employee. He told me that trains are only allows to have A 5 psi
pressure drop from the 11st car to the last car.

I do not believe that Civil War era trains had pneumatic brakes. Perhaps you could point some out for trains of that era. Do ivory tower types know what pneumatic means other than as a definition a dictionary?

President Obama is officially retired, but unofficially he is the regent.

Oh and Obama definitely does not swing from trees.

Why torment an English major with brakes or breaks? The guy is going to fail basic history as well. What subject doesn't the guy fail at?

Westinghouse pneumatic braking system was made into federal law in 1893 (Railway Safety Appliance Act in 1893)

That would put in the last 4 years of the Gilded Age (era) right before the Progressive era and after the Reconstruction Era, which was after the Civil War.

Seriously, someone one needs to pick up a book and put down the magazines.
