BBC: Ukraine war: Germany sends much-awaited Leopard tanks
The first shipment of Leopard 2 tanks from Germany has been sent to Ukraine, the German defence ministry says.
Eighteen cutting-edge main battle tanks were delivered after Ukrainian crews were trained to use them.
Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said he was sure the tanks could "make a decisive contribution" on the frontlines of the war.
Challenger 2 tanks from the UK have also arrived, according to reports from Ukraine.
Ukraine has been calling for more modern vehicles and weapon systems for months to help fight Russia's invasion.

Based on the turrets, look like A4 models. Generally not considered cutting-edge.
Well, Russian incompetence rules again.
Let's see if the Ukies can get them to the front. Maybe the Russians will the redeem themselves,.... then again, maybe not. :)
Upgraded A4 and A6, both superior ahead of T72 and T80 , their first shot kill at full speed fire control and stabiliser is something else.
But fazzy there are only 18. Not 130. You are going to be disappointed when these things are killed by
arty and helo. Then they will be dragged back to RUS MIL lab and dissected. Then shipped off to a Chinese and possibly a Iranian lab. Then one of those three countries or maybe all of them will start a reverse engineering effort.

A failed math , 18 German, plus 14 challengers, plus 8 Norway, 3 Portugal,6 Spain, Canada 4 , poland 14 ..that's just what's been disclosed . You'll be dissapointed when they kill 10 to 1 in offence and 20 to 1 in defence . You really need to educate yourself on how superior the fire control and stabilisation systems are on these .
Luckily for you Ukraine will report such numbers and you'll believe them. A match made in heaven.
