Ukraine Zelensky Explains Why Russia Must Not Win In The Battle For Bakhmut (Video)

WNU Editor: Ukraine President Zelensky admits that the battle for Bakhmut is all about PR, and denying Putin a victory. Small comfort to the thousands of Ukrainians who have died in the battle for this city.

I think he just said out loud that propaganda is as important as actual battlefield gains and lives will be spent for that victory as lives will be spent taking or holding ground.

I couldn't be more cynical about the governments and leaders of the world so there is no change in my thinking about this admission. It reaffirms my thinking.

The lives that are spent won't be his of course.

It’s a killing field of Russians like the world has never seen… human wave attacks won’t work against modern western weapons fyi

t in WW2 the Russians would not take ground after they savaged the defenders with artillery. They waited for the enemy to be reinforced and then rinsed and repeated. What I have seen is that is what the Ukrainians are doing to the Russians. I see a lot of Russian artillery, air defense and HQ being blown up. Battlefield is being shaped by Ukrainians.

Also I do not think it would be easy to retreat after not retreating a month ago. At this point you grind down the attackers that when you begrudgingly give ground, the Russians are to exhausted to give chase.

Peasant don't due to well in war. the Kremlin treat a lot of their people like peasants. I expect the Russian line to crack when the Ukrainians hit it.

Lots of pseudo intellectualizing about fairy tales goin on up there. The abominable snowman is moving in his armies from the north but the tooth fairy can still hold out...

You got that right . What the clowns ( 2:59 and 3:35 ) are doing is blatantly obvious. They are taking stated Russian tactics that have been explained on this blogg for the last 3 months and now trying to apply them to the Ukrainians. The Rinse and repeat and the hit and fall back tactics have been decidedly Russian in the past 3 months. The Ukrainians? They are doing , "hold what you got". and fight to the last old man.

I guess the poster is doing this because he cannot do an original analysis of his own, nor does he have any fidelity to the truth.

I challenge anyone to show human wave attacks by either side. I have seen squads and platoons moving forward, but no Banzi charges by hundreds of men. If you don't have that, then send along the pics of fields full of bodies. Then I might start believing this "human wave". BS
