SEOUL (Reuters) -South Korea, the United States and Japan staged joint naval missile defence exercises on Monday to improve responses to North Korean threats, as Pyongyang accused Washington of ramping up "nuclear blackmail" with military drills.

The three nations agreed at talks in Washington on Friday to hold regular missile defence and anti-submarine exercises in their efforts to boost diplomatic and military cooperation.

North Korea tested a new solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Friday that experts say would ease the way for missile launches with little warning, part of an increase in its military activities in recent weeks.

Hans, what would be the 3 fronts? Ukraine, Korea, and China; or Korea, Taiwan and South China sea?

Ukraine, Korea and Taiwan..
I think they are betting that the "US" cant keep up production of ammo.
Thats the only checkmate move i can see if the Chinese is actually going to put their new fancy army to use and take Taiwan.
In just a few weeks the AA stuff will be depleted, SK and Taiwan cant do shit after that. I guess Japan can help, but they are still behind in the armsrace..

Well, this is just my own conspiracy theory because thats what I would do..

Whole thing goes nuclear long before MacArthur's great great grandson discovers that he can't get enough 155 ammo across the pacific.

Nope. For some reason they don't seem to care about nukes. So there will not be any nukes used. It's like both players have a secret card but wont show it.
