EU Foreign Policy Chief Borrell Admits That Ukraine Would Collapse In Days Without Western Support

Euronews: 'If we don't support Ukraine, Ukraine will fall in a matter of days,' says Josep Borrell

Speaking in Florence, Josep Borrell reflected on the transformational changes that have swept the EU since the Kremlin launched the invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine will succumb to the invading Russian forces "in a matter of days" without military support from Western countries, Josep Borrell, the European Union's foreign policy chief, said on Friday, insisting that the present situation inside the war-torn country is not conducive for launching formal peace talks.

"Unhappily, this is not the moment for diplomatic conversations about peace. It's the moment of supporting militarily the war," Borrell told Euronews' Méabh McMahon at the State of the Union event hosted by the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence.

Not days at all, months perhaps, then a partisan war for a decade

Russia would collapse without South African and North Korean ammo and weapons.

Russians are getting crushed around Bakhmut now, but WNU doesn't want to talk about it. So we get this story. A sort of last gasp Goebbel-esque posting.

Months? You really are delusional. We are paying wages and pensions for the entire Ukrainian government. The very minute the cash faucet that is the United States is turned off, there will be mass abandonment across the board. Zelensky will be on a plane to his mansion in Florida

Russia is a huge country with vast resources. It is now getting help from Iran etc. So what if Ukraine gets help from us? We send aid to many nations whether they are at war or not.

Fazman rule applies again.
Ukrain would last about a week if it was cut off from the west.

Like Afghanistan. When the ship sinks, the rats leave. It would be a panic bum rush to get out.

Routed Russian forces retreat in face of Ukrainian advances.

Beating World wide sanctions since 2014. No matter how much disaster predictions we have seen from THE EU or USA, the Ruskies keep on ticking right along. And that is with fighting a war to boot.
