President Joe Biden will not be holding a news conference Friday afternoon, despite telling reporters he would be “holding a major press conference this afternoon.”
A White House spokesperson told CNN that Biden was “referring to a previously announced interview.”
MSNBC previously announced that Stephanie Ruhle will air a Biden interview at 10 p.m.

If you are an Alzheimer's patient, sitting down with a friendly Pravda-like, cheerleading outfit such as MSNBC, who throw softballs at you, is a major presser.
You have no idea what he goes through. He might be nauseous half the time from the pick-me-up drugs they give him so that he can mumble through a a 3 minute teleprompter speech.
People build up tolerance to drugs so the doctor has to up the dosage or switch to another drug. Sometimes when they ran through all the drugs they try to go the round robin method and go through the same drugs again.
There appear to be drugs now that slow Alzheimer disease. They make or cause to make an enzyme or something that can cut the offending proteins into pieces so they can be flushed.
If Joe is not getting that then his last days will be a pill popping doctor trying to get him upright only to be dumped in Delaware to wither in a few months, when they no longer need the Oval Office Crash Test Dummy.
