Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov was “just lying” when he accused Washington of coordinating drone attacks on Moscow, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said Thursday.
“I can assure you that there was no involvement by the United States. Whatever it was, it didn’t involve us,” Kirby said on MSNBC when asked about Peskov’s comments.
“We had nothing to do with it. Peskov is just lying there, pure and simple.” On CNN soon after, he called it a “ludicrous claim.”

After the Russians made a fuss about the Nordstream attack and among other things tried to pinpoint a sailing boat, which did not have the facilities for the attack, I do not believe the Russians. Also the Russia had a recovery ship with a submersible in the area. Russia is not be trusted.
The drone attack IMO was a Russian maskirovka. Does a drone of that size have the fuel to fly that far? the lower it flies the more contrary winds there would be. If you figure its ceiling height, range, and how big of a return it would provide at various altitude, you may be able to predict some ballpark probabilities of getting thru?
The Russians put some air defence units on top of buildings. They did not pick it up? of course ground clutter might be a reasonable explanation why they did not. Plus if there were a lot of drones flow in Moscow anyway the Russians might have had to change their filter settings. that could be another explanation.
Or it could be an FSB op.
Wasn’t it the United States who came up with the sailboat story pertaining to the Nordstream attack? Where are you getting this from? Good show of Russophobia and delusionism.
US also denied Nordstream bombings.
