On June 4, a group referring to itself as the "Polish Volunteer Corps" issued a boastful announcement confirming its participation in a series of cross-border ground offensives into Russia. News of these audacious raids was jarring enough, given the many prior assurances of U.S. and Ukrainian war planners, who insisted no attacks would be carried out inside Russian territory. It was all the more conspicuous that the incursion units were apparently comprised of Polish soldiers.
Poland, of course, is not only a NATO member state, but the NATO member state with which the U.S. has most assiduously aligned itself since Russia's February 2022 invasion of Ukraine (Polish government officials deny any formal connection to the "Polish Volunteer Corps"). So the raids raised an obvious, yet oft-neglected question: Just what the hell is U.S. policy in Ukraine?

On a personal note. This blog has been covering wars and conflicts for 16 years. But this war has been very difficult to cover. It involves family members, close friends, and two countries that I am intimately familiar with.
But I also have a lot of experience, background knowledge, contacts, and understanding on what is happening .... on both sides. And it has been quite an experience. All that I can say is that I would say I have been right about half the time. Which is a far better record than the main stream media's coverage and analysis of this war, which has been wrong about 80% (if not more) of the time.

It is impossible for these government creatures on either side of this horror to lie to me because I do not believe a word they say. Whatever they push out through their mediums have no effect on me emotionally or logically in any direction. it is just wind.
I will say, it is just interesting to me to be living in these times when long after I die, there will be a lot written about this era.
I am at odds with half my family over Trump and this war against Russia. I think many families in the west are. I sincerely believe this is a war of good vs evil, and that Trump and Russia are on the side of good. I do not understand how a human being can hate another human or another country as much as the liberals and democrats hate Trump and Russia. I listen to my mother on a daily basis wish and hope for the whole Trump family to be killed and Russia be nuked off the planet, despite being a huge fan of the apprentice when it was on television. This has to be the work of evil forces. Can anyone rationalize the sudden animosity and pure hatred of Trump?
