The most shocking development was the closeups revealed that these weren’t just any NATO tanks and IFVs, but were in fact some of the most advanced upgraded variants. Many of the Leopards destroyed were not the older 2A4s but in fact the much newer 2A6s, which are some of the most advanced tanks in the world.
The losses by some counts are staggering for a single assault:
The Ukrainian Telegram channel "Rezident" reports that, according to its sources, in the previous three days the AFU has lost over 150 units of heavy equipment, including 12 German Leopard MBTs and 15 American M2 Bradley IFVs.

No you don't need to read it. You just need to read what was said on this blog 3 or 4 days ago. Attacking a fortified defensive line with a complex obstacle belt without artillery and air support is criminally insane.
But read the article anyway. Near the middle and end he talks about your problem of cognitive dissonance.

This the proper way to follow the war from video production standpoint. Since Putin
tightly controls flow of information, if you see zero reporting?, it's not going well for them. The Russians and Putin made a big deal of this video. At the end of the day a few Bradley's and 2 Leopard 2s were lost. This is to be expected. They may have been repaired already. There are zero other videos because nothing positive to report.
The Leo with Bradley's only had a track missing and was gone the next day , probably repaired by now

The sad part of this is two fold.
Those were not "seconds". equipment. That was a A6 Leo and top of the line Bradleys. Full electronics suite and armament package. What a waste.
The other thing it vindicates the two Special forces advisers interview from WORs. This is a discombobulated army. It is early. But I can bet this.
American advisers are scrambling. It is panic time in Kiev and DC.
Once again, an American trained army is getting its ass kicked in the field. Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Panama....It always ends up badly.
I bet there is move to put American PMC or AD advisors inserted into units down to the Company level.

There is a video on this page of Russian soldiers at these specific wrecks. The vehicles were not simply disabled and dragged back for repair by the Ukrainians as claimed above. The faz is never right. You can set your watch by it.
