As to what is my take.
I still think it is too early to make any final judgements.
But a friend of mine said something early today that I have been thinking about all morning. If Ukraine was succeeding in their counteroffensive and making great progress, we will be hearing about it non-stop from the media all day. Instead .... we are only being told that a village or two have been recaptured.

you are absolutely right. When they want to support their narrative or policies, they scream, But when it does not fit/support their operations, they are strangely silent.
First recognized this with US operations in Africa. about 20 years ago One Pro US country had a coup, US screamed human rights and democracy. About 6 months later an Anti US country had a coup. The US was strangely silent. BTW. in both countries the government had been duly elected.
That has been the pattern ever since. Watch for it. You will see it again and again. This a sign that the US was involved in the Nord stream job. Otherwise they would have screamed bloody murder.
