WNU Editor: Ukraine has made some advances in the past few days. But after almost 4 weeks of fighting, Ukraine has only managed maybe 4 km on average in the sectors where they have made these advances. And they have not even encountered the first main Russian fortified line. This offensive has cost the deaths of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and the loss of hundreds of armored vehicles? Is this a success? You tell me.

As stated before, based on predicated availability of air cover and artillery. It was a disaster in the making.
Any one with a modicum of military experience could see the possible consequences of such an action when trying to defeat a complex obstacle belt without:
the element of surprise,
lack of mass
and lack of firepower,
it is just the way it is.
