VOA: US Providing $325 Million More in Aid for Ukraine
Pentagon — The United States is providing up to $325 million in additional military aid for Ukraine, a U.S. defense official tells VOA.
The package is expected to include Stryker and Bradley armored vehicles that can replace those damaged and destroyed in the Ukrainian counteroffensive currently underway, according to two Defense officials, who spoke to VOA on the condition of anonymity ahead of the package’s expected release Tuesday.
The officials said the latest aid also includes munitions for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS), along with more rockets for Ukraine’s High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

A "truce" is an agreement made by politicians. Millions of angry Ukrainians are not simply going to shrug their shoulders and let this go just because words are written on paper. I would make the argument that Crimea could be split in half like Cyprus, but that doesn't solve the issue of the Kerch bridge (and ferries) which would allow Russia to rearm and invade again in a few years, repeating this entire war over again. The only resolution is a military resolution which ends in a demilitarized zone, no physical/infrastructure links between the two countries, a no-fly zone within a certain number of nautical miles along the border, and Ukrainian ascension to NATO to ensure war does not break out again.
Otherwise, we've set a precedent that large authoritarian states can, and will, be allowed by the free world to overrun democratic states that are smaller than them. Bye-bye Taiwan. Then who's next? What stops China from snatching up some land near the Strait of Malacca or Russia from scooping up Moldova or Georgia? Dictatorships are never in a position where they "won't" do something, only that they "can't." We need to make it so they can't.
