Insider: Former Special Forces engineer says Russian minefields are unlike anything he has ever seen and battling these hidden death traps is 'exhausting'

* Ryan Hendrickson has been working to clear heavily mined areas in Ukraine.

* The former US Special Forces engineer says the overwhelming numbers of land mines is wildly different from anything he saw in Afghanistan.

* "How do you clear all of this out?" Hendrickson asked in an online interview with a Ukrainian YouTube channel.

A decorated former US Army Special Forces engineer who cleared out improvised explosives in Afghanistan and has since been tackling threats in Ukraine says the monstrous minefields Russia is laying down are unlike anything he has ever seen.

"The biggest difference is the sheer number of mines," Ryan Hendrickson, who previously served in Afghanistan with the Green Berets and is now removing deadly mines as a volunteer in Ukraine, told Ukrainian Toronto Television.

"There are millions and millions of mines in Ukraine," many put down by the Ukrainians, but significantly more by the Russians. In one field, for instance, Hendrickson and his team found over 700 anti-tank mines, though they estimated there may have been thousands in total. That was just one field.

WNU Editor: What makes the situation even more dire is that Russia has the ability to deploy landmines in fields behind Ukrainian lines that have been cleared of landmines. The Ukraine army also have the same capability .... Russian forces battling Ukraine's assault are discovering a nasty danger behind them, courtesy of the US (Insider).

Well , let's see. The last three articles

Great mine fields,

Great Body armor

and great EW machines.

Gee.... according to fazman, Chis and the Hanover GS boys all the Russian equipment is junk and the Russians were poorly trained and equipped. Chis even said they were using T55s.The Russians were also incapable of conducting any serious military operations

Well Guess what.

You see gents this is what happens when:

You listen to Brit Intel and USA Intel
You believe the think tanks are telling you the ruth.
You think that the pentagon briefs are telling you the truth
That somehow the parrots of the MSM repeating those lies somehow makes it all true.
How is it, that after the lies of Iraq, syria, Afghanistan and many others , you still fall for this crap.

And no, the Russians are not perfect. But they are doing ok.

The russians are not falling apart
They are not running out of tanks and missiles
They are not cowards They do know how to fight but it is not the American style of fighting.
They are trained and getting better all the time.
Thier logistics are quite good at this point.

this war, as said months ago

Is not the Ukrainians to win.
It is the russians to lose.

It's all about economies of scale, industrial output and population. Everything else being equal, the winner will posses all of these.

No don't go down the viet nam war comparison ...different animal...US was supporting a corrupt surrogate ally. For The North Vietnamese it was a fight to the death.

Usually the one with the most resources wins. But not that time, due to other factors.

But then again, maybe that does apply, with the Ukrainians being the South Viets.

Anyway the main point is to realize we are NOT BEING TOLD THE TRUTH

and that

WILL CONTINUE into THE FUTURE.

So, both NATO and USSR planned for logistics over minefields on the beach, using hovercraft. They don't set off mines, though they are high-maintenance (turbines) and thin skinned.

Also, the USA mined the Ho Chi Minh trail. The Vietnamese used a "push system" of Soviet bulldozers to maintain the trail. There was a bulldozer every so many miles along the whole trail and when one was destroyed the next one to the north would move down, and then the one behind that, etc. The Soviets could produce bulldozers on a scale to keep the trail open.

No Faz.

Just sick of your constant russians suck, ukie good mantra. These three articles prove you got big holes in your assumption base.

These three articles only show that people trust the information they want to trust. Why would these articles be any more reliable than others? If people are not willing to fact check themselves using open source information like Bellingcat, they will be at the mercy of the most daunting ennemy: Confirmation bias

sure Anthony.what you read and what you think is right, hones, correct. the rest of the world is wrong. No, retard: you are a misfit.

The only thing that is right is what is true. It doesn't matter what I think or what you think. If you think you can fly, and jump off a cliff without equipment, reality will answer you in a very morbid way.

And don't bother reply if you're just gonna mindlessly insult behind the cowerdly veil of anonymity. Ad-hominem is for the weak minded who lack any capacity for rational thought.
