Does The U.S. Have An Achievable Goal In Ukraine?

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy (C) meets with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (R) as he visits the Fighter Wing Skrydstrup air base of the Royal Danish Air Force during a working visit to the Kingdom of Denmark in Copenhagen, Denmark on August 21, 2023. MISH Talk: The US Has No Clear, Achievable Goal in Ukraine, Nor Does Anyone Else

What’s the US goal in Ukraine? Is it doable? What about Russia’s goal? Ukraine’s?

Minus the troops, the setup in Ukraine is starting to look like the US fiasco in Vietnam, in Afghanistan, and Iraq.

None of hose actions had a clearly defined mission that was remotely achievable. Ukraine doesn’t either.

WNU Editor: There is no clear US endgoal towards Ukraine. All I know is that the U.S. policy towards Ukraine is to continue to send arms and to pay most (if not all) of the expenses of the Ukraine government, including the salaries of the soldiers fighting on the front. Cut this off, and like other conflicts the US was principally involved in, the collapse will happen within a few months.

The Kremlin's goals in Ukraine are very straightforward. Ukraine must be a neutral country with no membership in NATO, and Russia gets to keep the territories under its control plus the rest of the Donbas. Unlike Washington, the Kremlin sees this war as an existential threat, and the vast majority of Russians are in agreement with this view.

In this contest of wills, I am 99% confident that Russia will achieve its goals, and be a much stronger country when it is over. The only question that remains unanswered is how long will this war continue. Or more to the point .... how long will the US keep its pipeline of suport to Ukraine open.

My prediction is that I now see this war going late into 2024, and if Democrats hold onto the White House after the 2024 Presidential election, I see the war easily going into 2025. But after, because of public pressure on the hundreds of billions being pumped into the conflict, the US goal will be to look for an exit ramp from a conflict that is only damaging the EU and American economies.

the goal? To offset Russia and Putin's aggression and attempt to recreate what was once the "greater" Russia. The Democrats will continue to support this; the GOP, if under Trump will do as Trump always did as president: do the will and bidding of Putin.
Ukraine will one day be a member of NATO for Putin as shown why it is wise to do so and foolish to not join.

We really do need to just send you weirdos off onto an island in the middle of the pacific somewhere. Oh wait, that’s Australia 🇦🇺. Off to your friend Epstein island it is then.

Dude if this thing lasts into 2025 and Biden is somehow relected... God I don't know. I don't think Ukraine can hold on that long without EU troops involved at which point we won't just be able to cut and run without a catastrophe taking place. And at what point does Russia start hitting American interests/ targets? AFU can't hold any front let alone stage another offensive, and they want to mobilize another fresh army??? Madness. Much like hitler and his delusional state in '44-45, with his magic armies and wonder weapons. Be realistic.. western interests in this conflict are lost.

Hitler was delusional, Zelensky is stuck between western leaders who made him rich and the Uke nationalist hardliners who are delusional. Zelensky almost Signed that peace deal in Turkey until Boris the war hawk came along.

The goal is to kill as many slavs as possible to make room for it's new owners while further enslaving every last western citizen to the debtor class that's making us pay for it. Mission accomplished.

The US goal is possible. Putin's goal already shown not possible.

I believe Klaus Schwab laid the plan out in his book. Population control through pandemics and small wars with almost no future for white people. Not me saying this, go read it for yourself.

Men and now kids run when they hear the pressgangs are in the neighborhood.

And much much more.

Oh also it is one of the most corrupt countries on the face of the earth.

This is going to have (bad) effects on USA and Europe economies without arguing it. But saying that Russia will be stronger, I honestely don't know.

I stopped to follow daily this blog once it has become too obsessed against west countries, and the lack of info against the fallen of the Russian rouble it is just another confirm.

Russia will need to cooperate more with China, which has the same imperialism stance as Washington. good luck with that...

yes. thank god we have democracy and lots of freedom under Putin, your version of Trump

Clearly Russia is going to win. I knew this in 2014 and warned our leadership class to steer clear from this folly. Very respectfully in a war of Wills you underestimate the US leadership class. Once forced to admit defeat, they'll resort to nukes.

I'll politely say go f your fiddle. From an Aussie to a dumbass probably Putin loving Z brain. Slava Ukraine Bitch.

Hey shit for brains , I never said the Russians were fighting for democracy. I do not care what they are fighting for.

But You are the one that said the ukies are fighting for democracy, your dedication to crap is evident. LOOK at what 4:50 said.

So don't spew that goodie goodie bullshit that we are fighting for democracy in Ukraine. The only thing I can see the US is fighting for is some stupid dedication to neocon philosophy.

You are a sick pup and don't try to dig up a graveyard of trash narrative shit from a government that has made itself illegitimate due to its own past lies.
