Is President Biden’s Ukraine Strategy Failing?

Brahma Chellaney, The Hill: Biden’s Ukraine strategy is failing

As the war in Ukraine drags on despite the unprecedented U.S.-led sanctions against Russia, “Ukraine fatigue” in the West is beginning to set in. Most Americans now oppose Congress authorizing further military and economic aid for Kyiv, according to a new CNN-SSRS poll.

It is easier to keep funding and arming a country when things are going well. But Ukraine’s counteroffensive against the entrenched Russian invaders is floundering, despite the West training and equipping Ukrainian formations with tens of billions of dollars’ worth of new weapons.

WNU Editor: There are others who have a different point of view .... The US has a chance to defeat Russian imperialism for good (James J. Coyle, The Hill).

As to what is my take.

The momentum is now clearly on the Russian side. Their advances in the northeast part of the country has forced Ukraine to redeploy what reserves they have left to this part of the country.

So what is next?

The White House underestimated Russia, and overestimated Ukraine. Even as the Ukraine counteroffensive fails to make any progress, I can easily see the Biden administration doubling down because they believe Russia has already lost the war (see video below).

Democrats keep pushing an alternative reality, because their delusions are their reality. All kept safe by their patchwork of "safe spaces" that they have created for themselves, reinforced by a multi faceted media designed to pervade every nook of your existence to the extent you cant even hear the voices of basic primal reason in your own head - telling you to at least ask questions. And even if you do, most people around you think the same and are quick to boot you back in place if you suggest anything to the contrary of the spotlighted "culture" and bombardment of suggestions from the glowy square. This is why they get so unbelievably upset and froth mouthed as soon as you question their most ridiculous manifestations of delusion on topics of gender, covid, weather, history, education, infrastructure, philosophically consistent morality and other basic belief structures and things like that. Everything is open ended and fluid for a reason. The lefts fascistic seizure of language via semantically overloaded language, euphemisms, constant redefinition and censorship, along with their use of variations of the "Your truth, my truth. My facts, your facts", "the science" and "The Science" is not designed or intended for sharing a country or body politic with the merits of a Democratic constitutional Republic as prescribed. They are turning the country into a socialist safe space for weaklings and degenerates, weaponizing mental illness and stupidity with marxist mechanisms of social reinforcement/justification, and deploying violent fascist tactics when reality pokes its ugly head and the right points it out. They constantly and desperately try to subvert everyones shared objective reality with their dysfunctional substitute, and this does almost everything to explain why that political party hasn't come up with a policy that was calibrated to a net benefit affect for the country in well over 20 years now; the Ukraine-Russian war being one of them. Throw bodies and money at the enemy; push until their is mush as Stalin liked to say.

Matt is correct.

To simplify

Is Bidens Ukrainian policy failing?

Answer. YES.

But on a lager point of Matt's comment. That's why anyone who criticizes the Narrative or doubts the blob's propaganda is hounded and called a conspiracy theorist.

Because if the Left's alternate reality is proven false, the whole house of cards will come crashing down.

What’s scary is if these democrats fail, and they are, the likely hood that these monsters will use nuclear weapons to bring the world down with them. Quite frankly I trust Pakistan with nukes more than I do progressive ideologs with nukes

Anyone who criticizes the blob and the lizard people who run it get called a conspiracy theorist in the least, and potentially much worse depending on the level of transgression to their ideology. With that now systemic and pervasive ESG crap, Social tyranny being amplified through social media, ideological persecution and a media willing and able to go scorched earth and slander you if need be, you can lose your job, future success prospects and alienate half your family if you you engage in notable wrong think as we constantly see. You cant even stand there smiling while fake native American pounds a drum in your face, or shoot 3 guys with your AR15 who were very obviously trying to murder you as you flee. Or be a marine protecting civilians on a subway from a lunatic recidivist criminal or subdue a career criminal degenerate animal as a law enforcement officer who was overdosing on drugs at the time of being arrested. The court of public opinion is being weaponized and examples are being made.

Many times we see the house of cards sway or see a few walls collapse, but the most important factor to completing the felling of that reprehensible construct is that people know that its happening and why in a timely manner. The momentum always seems to get stifled, usually by a media/Deep state PR wing with a bias of omission while dealing apologetics.

There is a reason why after 2008 or so, High schools around the country no longer have 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and similar books as required reading and most dont even have them in their libraries anymore. The template fits perfectly. But democrats point at conservatives banning books in cases where k-12 schools have books on the shelves detailing how to give oral $@x and when/how to spit for aynal, along with anti American 1619 project materials not called as such that are "definitely not taught in schools". Its the whole "definitely not being taught, but it would be good if it was, and why are you noticing!?" bullshit.

Sometimes they accuse you of being a conspiracy theorist. Other times they accuse you of being Russian. They do this I'm spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Some of them are ideologies. Others are malicious. Those who are malicious have ulterior motives and ideologies are incapable of honest evaluation of anything that might challenge their cherished beliefs.
