The High Cost For Ukraine To Take The Village Of Robotyne From Russian Forces

WNU Editor: Sources that I trust say the battle is still continuing. But to be fair. Russia also suffered heavy losses in trying to keep this town.

War is so weird. Like mass formation hypnosis or something that turns us into meat and the rich richer

well about time. 1 defense line pierced. Now let's see if it can be held. Two to go. But the problem remains. after all these casualties and destroyed equipment. Where will the exploitation force come from?

We will see.

WNU is giddy that he can once again quote the leftwing hack runn9ng moon of Alabama.

It did not take "10+ brigades, 20-35,000 men" to take a town of 480.

It took 10+ brigades, 20-35,000 men to push a salient against thousands of dug in Russians.

If Moon of Alabama hack had said the latter and then question if it is worth it, he would have a leg to stand on.

But Moon of Alabama did not and WNU did not. both are hacks.

At another site back in June they said it was important to get into range of the MSR to interdict it. I am going with that.

Maybe the Ukrainians do not win. But I know exactly what WNU is up to right now. Agit-prop. That is his real job.

So happy!

Morons in the Russian high command made another run at Vuhledar.

I hope they keep doing it.

I actually hope the Ukrainians do not try to take Pavlika. Need to keep Vuhledar out there as bait!

Hopefully, it was crack troops of the VDV and hopefully they got totally wasted!

"The media is focusing on the ‘slow’ Ukrainian process rather than the plethora of times that Russian offensives were stopped dead in their tracks. This is significant because it implies that Russia’s offensive ability has culminated."

There was a huge push by the Russian west of the north flank at Bakhmut. Nothing more is heard. If that many Russian troops were wasted, it smacks of desperation.

i fully agree with something someone said.

Last year it was the same build up by Ukrainians followed by Russian Retreat. I think the same will happen.

fazman said...

It's a very strategic town, the fact that Russia couldn't hold it and got mauled , speaks volumes

Anonymous said...

Really? You guys just woke up. ???

Here it was 6 months ago , on this site I had to hear YOU ALL SAY..... repeating the MSM BS line

"The Russian army is crap. They cannot even take a little town like Bakhmut."

And I had to remind you all that, IT IS NOT THE TOWN It is the AREA OF OPERATIONs that has over 25 Ukrainian brigades and that is why it is taking so long. Not because the Russian army is crap.

Now, the shoe being on the other foot......I hope you see the bullshit of the western press when they say stupid ignorant crap.

It is the same here.

So Lesson learned...THINK CRITICALLY. Don't Just parrot and Spew the Western Narrative or Russian.

BTW The current offensive is a failure. after 2.5 months they have just the reached the 1st defensive line and to do so they had to deploy their LAST reserve unit.

Thank about that.

This does not mean the war is over, but it does mean the Ukrainians are just about done.

fazman said...

About done...the momentum is gathering pace. Much of the equipment afv etc to get to this point was not destroyed but damaged , and is or soon will be back in action .

Anonymous said...

Ok fazzy, we will see. But I doubt it.

That stuff has to be sent back and repaired with western parts. That is one of the "superior " qualities of the old Soviet/Russian equipment. Though not sophisticated, it could take a punch and was a lot easier to get up and rolling.

Also like many people here like to hammer home...You need trained crews. Where are they going to get trained crews to man western Bradleys , Marders or Leopards? The Bradley, for one, is not an easy machine to learn.

A good brad crew operates on muscle memory. The guys in those IFVs will not be very effective.

But go ahead, Fazzman, be an optimist all you want.

But I think McGregor is right, this might be the Ukrainian last hurrah. With all the graveyards full, where are they going to get the manpower from?

Anonymous said...

Oh by the way Fazzman, you did not answer this one.....

Who will do the exploration operation, if THE LAST RESERVE UNITs have been deployed???
Not only that.

WHO will take out the 2nd and 3rd defense lines since the LAST RESERVE has been deployed?

Where is this so called Momentum going to come from.?? Please do tell.

Critical thinking...the above questions needs to be asked...

and'

'Answered.

fazman said...

Here's the important part you missed, the difference between Western MBT and AFV ..the crews generally have survived. This is perhaps the mist important aspect between nato and Russian doctrine. Western designers give a fuck and realise the importance of trained crews , Russians never have .

Anonymous said...

ok Faz

so what are your saying?

Again

Who will do the exploration operation, if THE LAST RESERVE UNITs have been deployed???
Not only that.

WHO will take out the 2nd and 3rd defense lines since the LAST RESERVE has been deployed?

Where is this so called Momentum going to come from.?? Please do tell.

Can wait to hear what you progressive fascists say when half of Ukraine is formally ceded to Russia in a peace deal

fazman said...

Yes because the 82nd is destroyed and depleted, and brigades have never been amalgamated or rotated ..this has never happened in combat ever . Anyway according to you the war stops here and now as they are spent..let's see hey

Anonymous said...

The US is sending Bradleys. The Russians are sending BMP-1s. 1st generation BMPs or "BUMPS" as the war gaming community likes to affectionately call them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMP-1

Built from 1961 to 1965.

Soon the Russians will have to trick out Ladas and make them into technicals.

fazman said...

But they are easy to repair , and when hit double up as KA52s momentarily

Anonymous said...

Glad you guys are so optimistic. Time will tell. But I will say this. Ever see a Bradley burn? Pretty nasty. What makes them slow to repair as well as other western vehicles is the electrical systems. All that wiring burns nasty and hot. The aluminum armor does not help

Btw do we have any numbers on how many were actually recovered? Or are we engaged in wishful thinking?

Crew recovery? You place a lot of hope on this one. Yes US vehicles have better crew survivability, but how many were actually killed or significantly wounded to make them combat ineffective?

Yes. Alot of tough questions, but without knowing the answers, you are only guessing. And we do not really know.
Do you have that knowledge or do we wait for time to tell?

Anonymous said...

Fazy. Look at this one. If you think things like this can be repaired......

1209

That's the same crap cris was saying 2 months ago with the Russians using only T 55s.

So logical thought says.

If the Russians are using such out dated and poor equipment, why have the ukies not beaten them yet???

See here is where you genius info ops guys paint yourselves into a box.

The Russians are losing narrative is failing miserably.

And you guys only make it worse by spewing crap like this.

fazman said...

You are also only guessing and yes time will tell . As for numbers being repaired?, there was an article from an independent analysis group where the number of actual Leo's completley destroyed ..was 6! Not bad . If l can find l will repost , lm sure you can find it also with 20 min of googling .

fazman said...

Volume is the answer , volume . To adress your above statements, yes a Bradley will burn hot but to make rhat happen takes a lot more than a BMP.!
There are dozens of photos of knocked out western mbt and ifv , and most show mobility kills(mines) , not twisted junk with turrets 100 mt away..the implications on crew survival are obvious. Even a protected mobility vehicle like the Bushmaster will save lives far more effectively from blasts than any Russian equivlant and that once again comes back to doctrine .

fazman said...

1209 was sarcasm, the 82nd is ukranian not Russian lol, but nice deflection

fazman said...

PGZ in Poland has verified photos of at least 4 field damaged Leo being repaired ..it's not really conjecture it's math .

Anonymous said...

Ok faz you have 4 Leos recovered out of what ? 25-40 (or more) destroyed or out of action?

That's it? Really?
No Brads or marders at all?

fazman said...

The verified hits aren't even close ro 25 total , and 4 was that week arrival. Mist are mobility kills , then days later they aren't there on battlefield..where did they go ?..McDonald's?
Marder no idea, Bradley's? You can bet the US is repairing them in poland , regardless more we're and will be on the way .
