Newsweek: U.S. Troops Should be Sent to Ukraine, Third of Americans Say

Almost a third of Americans support U.S. troops being sent to war-torn Ukraine, according to a new poll.

A total of 31 percent of eligible voters in the U.S. support or strongly support American military forces heading to the battlefields of Ukraine, polling conducted exclusively for Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton Strategies has revealed.

A quarter of respondents neither supported nor opposed the idea of sending U.S. soldiers to Ukraine, with 34 percent against the suggestion. Just under one in ten respondents did not know. The Pentagon said it had no comment to make when contacted by Newsweek about the results of the poll.

Almost a third of Americans support or strongly support the US starting WWlll. Of course O’Biden would be supportive. He’s got more “business” to do.

Democrats love dead US troops, along with homeless vets and child rape, butchery and murder by the tens of millions. Just like Child Pred Fred Lapaides loves exploiting children and young adults for his own personal gain, along with being a boot licking democrat apologist hack living out his final days in an obscure blogs comment section where not a soul on there takes him seriously - thinking its impactful in any way whatsoever. More democrat larping and hidy ho thoughts and feelings....and vox hyperlinks as his primary sources. Professor dipshit :D

WNU is wrong once again. Initially, there might or there would. It would be like the Meuse-Argonne Campaign. Russia would be crushed.

But you egg people on and see what happens.

Look at the bright side once Moscow is secured, the Democrats send the FBI in to shred all records to protect some in Washington.

I love these polls....1,254 people surveyed or some good awful low number! 331,149,281 people in the USA and these f#cks doing the poll call their buddies to hear what they want! LMAO

FBI is primarily domestically oriented, though there would be redundant FBI presence of sorts I am sure. The CIA, DIA, and a few others would be the ones mainly participating in that tad of an outlandish scenario.

fazman said...

Really, that would be Putin pushing the domino's over. This would be arguably the only justifiable war the U.S would be involved in since Korea

fazman said...

Exactly, Russia is not a peer military to the U.S , despite the FSB bots on here

Anonymous said...

The FBI is not domestic. The FBI is the praetorian guard. They are the American Oprichnik.

All the FBI needs is a little spiel about how working with partners overseas they are combatting a threat that could affect the continental US.

Fazman, the war in Afghanistan was not justifiable?

We did not immediately go to war.

We asked the Taliban to hand over Obama bin laden. They refised.

The u.s. army is not defeating any Russian army anytime soon. It will take years for American arms industry to come anywhere near what's necessary for a war like this. And newsflash... they don't have that time. Only thing that will work is nukes which shouldn't be an option. How do you have any confidence in American military? Training... top notch. Weaponry... top notch (sometimes). Infrastructure... poor. Logistics... worse. Strategy... horribly arrogant and misguided. Leadership... non existent. Face it... we haven't succeeded militarily since ww2. And the Russians did the brunt of the fighting in that one. We're going down... hard. It's time to negotiate an end. And you cant say you support this nonsense unless you're joining the fight. It's not football or soccer... you don't get to sit on the sidelines and watch. It's an insult to all the dead. Insanity

I am certain the "poll" cited is not based a fair and representative sampling.

this site needs to recognize that polls suggesting what Americans prefer do not mean much at all. Americans want abortion rights kept. Americans want better gun control legislation. That has not come to pass nor does it seem to matter. Americans do not set foreign policy.

No Americans do no want

Fixed it for you.

Progressive liberals want abortion and more gun controls.

Or.
For gun control
baby sitter culture who have not figured out that using mass punishment because you fail to discipline your deviant society wants more controls.

For abortion... These guys still cannot tel us where life begins, but they want us to use ideology to make the decision and make us all murders.

Drug Overdose Deaths in the U.S. Top 100,000 Annually - CDC

The #1 problem is drugs, but Freddie Lapides wants to talk about guns.

The #1 reason for homicides using guns is due to gangs in general & gang involvement in the drug trade. So again it comes down to drugs.

A reason that drugs are so prevalent is no border control. But Fast Freddy does not want to talk about border control, drugs coming over the border, gangs or drugs. No Fast Freddie lives in a gated community, so he is not affected by his poor choices to date. So Fast Freddy will continue to spout shit out his mouth and his @$$.

A reason for drugs alcohol or the other variety is lack of jobs. For instance there is Mansfield, Ohio. Drive into Mansfield o state route 39 all the way to city center. You will see a shitload of private bars in rundown 2 story frame houses in a rundown neighborhood pockmarked with empty lots. It is depressing to see. What is needed is jobs and border control. We will get neither form Joe Biden. Biden will goose the job numbers a little but with deficit spending but that is about it.

But why discuss anything with Fred. I find him to highly parochial and ignorant. He is not worldly. He is provincial.

Personally, I just as soon have abortion legal until 5 or 6 months. Sure an innocent is getting terminated, but you can't save the whole world all at once. Maybe when more knowledge about biology and intelligence trickles down to the lowest levels (i.e. Democrats) they will decide not to abort at the drop of a dime and do so without urging or coercion.

You just proved my point. CNN and the MSM want gun control and abortion. the rest of us, not so much. Get your society fixed and in the mean time do not punish responsible people because you cannot control your nut cases.

Sir--
you do not know me despite the fact that you stalk me nonstop via the oral history done for veterans by Rutgers. That said: you say I live in gated community? You are dead wrong. As usual.
I believe in a woman/s right to have an abortion. Yes. And I believe gun control is needed given the mass killings that take place weekly in our nation.
Drugs: they come mainly from Mexico via mules, many of whom are American travelers. And in the past when drugs were grown in Central America they are now often fentanyl, shipped in chemicals from China. Since farms are not needed, people trained to handle the chemicals are used and that eliminates a lot of farms, readily spotted by authorities. Now tougher to stop.
Now does mommy's baby have more bitching to do, then go for it Mr anon, the coward who devotes his energy to stalking than to saying anything constructive. Why? shabby raising in a shabby environment by parents who should not have become parents.

Sir--
you do not know me despite the fact that you stalk me nonstop via the oral history done for veterans by Rutgers. That said: you say I live in gated community? You are dead wrong. As usual.

^^^^ Liar

You live in a housing development that is low density and it is surrounded or around a golf course. The housing development is called a "village" and is accessed by a private road. It is split into two halves and each half is accessible by a single road only.

At the entrance to said village is a guard shack. It says XXXXXXXX Village Security. Parked beside it is a white pick up truck that says ... you guessed it "Security".

The southern boundary of the village does not need a fence, because it borders a interstate and the federal government put up a fence.

On the other 3 sides the village is surrounded by low density upscale houses. along XXXXXXXX Lane there is no sidewalk. If someone like POC would loiter along XXXXXXXX Lane, you could be sure security would call YYYYYYYYY police and they would be questioned, told to move along or picked up.

Google maps does not go into the XXXXXXXX Village, because it is a private drive. That is it not situated on public streets.

When you have guard shack and restricted access, it is a gated community. Gated communities do not need an actual chain linking fence and date. It can have a smart fence or other tech.

You sir live in a retirement community, which is de facto a gated community. I just proved it.

So back to the point. You can vote like crap and you are insulated from your poor choices.

Do you now wish to stop lying?

utzZ: as gated community is one with a gate and/or entrance that requires permission to enter, either from a pass or a sticker or a key. Where I live is of no concern to you, except to say that you remain wrong even on this minor point.

"Drugs: they come mainly from Mexico via mules, many of whom are American travelers. "

What is this with the continual, nonstop lying?

Is it base stupidity, willful ignorance or an antisocial trait?

Do you really want to use the word many?

If you compared the number of illegals who carried drugs into the US (denominator) and compared that to the number of Americans bringing it in after coming back from south of the border (numerator), that ratio would be approximately 0.

Long time ago we established that Fred is a stranger to numbers and he is not very good with words that describe quantity or amount.

https://www.npr.org/2023/08/09/1191638114/fentanyl-smuggling-migrants-mexico-border-drugs

So many illegals have been spotted with matching backpacks marching alongside coyotes. there were not drugs in those backpacks?

But hey, Fred can lean on NPR and feel smug that he is misinformed.

Consider Rumsfeld's quote.
“There are known knowns, things we know that we know; and there are known unknowns, things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns, things we do not know we don't know.” - Rumsfeld

Sure it is obvious to a person of average intelligence, but someone had to say it first.

A known unknown would be the "got aways". We have an estimate of the "got aways". We also know that a certain percentage of illegals guided by coyotes carry drugs for the cartels. the cartels are going to quit smuggling drugs with illegals if all the illegals carrying drugs for them are caught. Cartels members literally call up border patrol and let them know a group of illegals is coming through. When border patrol responds, the coyotes lead a second group carrying drugs across the border without interference. How much drugs? How successful are the cartels? Rhat is known unknown.

will Fred be honest about his? No, he will point to the NPR articles with a smug mien.

"A gated community (or walled community) is a form of residential community or housing estate containing strictly controlled entrances for pedestrians, bicycles, and automobiles, and often characterized by a closed perimeter of walls and fences."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gated_community

Notice the word often. It does not mean the same as the word always

often

adverb
1) Many times; frequently.
2) Frequently; many times; not seldom.
3) Frequently, many times.

always

adverb
1)At all times; invariably.
2) For all time; forever.
3) At any time; in any event.

I ask the gentle readers:

Is Fred mendacious or is the English prof a stranger to the English language?

"Migrants Say They're Unwilling Mules For Cartels" - NPR

"Drugs: they come mainly from Mexico via mules, many of whom are American travelers." --

So someone wants leav3 us with the impression that Americans are doing most of the smuggling based on anecdotal stories by NPR and incomplete analysis and data by the US government.

NPR would have you believe that it is mostly Americans after they posted their 2011 story about illegals carrying drugs. Anything for the narrative.
