Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday signed bills to extend martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days, until Nov. 15.
The law becomes effective as of Aug. 18 when the term of the previously announced marital law and general mobilization ends. Zelenskyy submitted two draft bills on July 26 to the Verkhovna Rada, or parliament, on extending martial law and mobilization. The parliament approved them on July 27.

But everyone I know in Ukraine is not buying it.

Zelinsky at least has the balls to declare martial law, since the very existence of Ukraine is at stake. Unlike President Trump of the USA, who allowed the BLM and Antifa riots to burn parts of many US cities in Democrat states unimpeded by the gutless Democrat governors who were too busy kneeling before the mob to do their jobs. If Trump truly had courage, he would have declared martial law, sent in the military to suppress the rioters, and arrested all the Democrat politicians who have pretty much destroyed the US. That was probably the last chance to save the USA, but Trump lacked the will and courage to take it. Trump likely wont be allowed to win another election, but if by some chance he does, I hope he learned his lesson and steels himself to do what is necessary to save the USA from the communist Democrats.
