Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
RT: Zelensky holds ‘closed talks’ with top British generals
The discussions took place amid growing Western disappointment with the slow progress of Kiev’s counteroffensive
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky says he has held talks with the UK's top military leadership and has stated that more weapons are being readied for delivery to Kiev.
In a video address published to his Telegram channel on Wednesday, Zelensky described the meeting as “closed, but productive.” He did not, however, elaborate on any specific details of the talks, stating only that new packages of military aid are being prepared for Ukraine, including air defense systems.

WNU Editor: At the same time top Ukrainian military officials also held talks with the US military, specifically with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley .... Front and weapons: Ukraine, U.S. representatives discuss cooperation Front and weapons: Ukraine, U.S. representatives discuss cooperation (Ukrinform).
All of these talks are happening at the same time when this announcement of new American aid was being made .... White House Wants Congress To Approve Billions In New Emergency Aid To Ukraine (August 10, 2023).
So what does this mean?
My analysis is that the U.S. and its allies are about to significantly escalate the war against Russia on every level that will also use Ukraine to strike critical infrastructure within Russia itself. To essentially use Ukraine as a platform and meat grinder to weaken Russia.
This new massive US commitment is also making me change my prediction on when this war is going to end. I now see this conflict going on pass the US Presidential election and into 2025.
One more note.
There was/is no mention in any Western news organization on Zelensky and his generals holding talks with British and US military officials this week. All of my sources for this story are from Russian and Ukrainian news sources and social media. There is a reason for this information black-out. Major decisions on where this war is heading were made this week, and we will be learning the specifics of it only in the weeks and months to come.

I know some here call your support for Russia a mere case of national pride and inheritance considering the amount of ties you have in Russia.
I call it something else. Germany had its fair share allies in odd and surprising places during the height of its aggression. And even today Germany still gets apologists for its actions. But there is nothing surprising about the support from this blog.
Modern conflicts are no different; The US is responsible for so much shit that has gone wrong in many countries, it's hard to to know what the number is.
And yes; the Russian/Ukraine conflict is dictated by complexity and animosity that runs deep. NATO remains an issue and a valid one for Russian concerns.
But NATO went from being a paranoia fear in the national mind of Russia to a crutch, an excuse and a means to provide the forward momentum of what we have now; one of the most brutal modern conflicts that has far-reaching consequences than any other recent conflict.
Russia has become the worlds pariah; the WNU Author has spoken in the past of how Russian sanctions are not having their desired effect, how Russia is building up new alliances and that Western attempts to isolate Russia and damage Russia have faltered far beyond western targets.
That's mostly all true. But what's not taken into account is the sheer amount of damage done to the geo-political structure of the world when it comes to Russia, and quite possibly China to a lesser extent. Russia is very much isolated and in a corner with a few like-minded countries who are drawing quick parallels to the Axis faction of Nazi Germany.
(Continued from 2:12)
Russia has by all intents, shown that it is no better than the US by choosing a path to war, but it has demonstrated this before and time again; it has shown itself as a regime that cannot participate nor want to participate with the international community honestly.
A Russian victory in Ukraine is a frightening prospect for what comes after. The WNU often speaks of how western governments continue to pour weapons into Ukraine to prolong this bloody war. There is an argument to be made that Western efforts are indeed lengthening this bloody conflict by doing so. But - there's also an argument to be made that what comes after a Russian victory in Ukraine could be far more detrimental to the changing geo-structure of the world.
And a Russian defeat? To me, a Russian defeat does not mean Moscow has fallen or that Russia has lost any land minus the land that Ukraine have rightful claims to. No, a Russian defeat to me is a regime change or a great sense of shame upon their national spirit that would put the current regime in great peril.
That's the difference between a Ukraine defeat, and a Russian defeat. Ukraine would be detrimental to the world itself for the short and long-term consequences. Russia's defeat would be detrimental to Russia; because Russia is not a free democracy, it never was. There's only one man in charge along with a pack of power hungry jackals kept in line by the system in place.
And that man, along with all who share in his counsel and have provided it, is responsible for the situation.
Others (like the WNU Author, and regular trolls here) will try to say that it is Nato, that it is Western weapons, that Russia had no choice and had to invade its neighbor to protect itself.
And in their own mind, delusional as it may be, they are right. But only in their own mind and nothing will change that fact.
Even when it is plain to see that Russia has the means to pull back and begin de-escalation.
Oh wait - Zelensky want's Putin's blood! Zelensky wants regime change before coming to the table! This is the often war-cry uttered when such proposals are mentioned.
It's easy to forget that Russia has never made any such attempt at ceasing hostilities, pulling back its troops or given any serious considerations for peace, so we simply do not know the room temperature that Zelensky is willing to accept to come to the table because Russia has kept the room hot. The only time they ever pulled back their troops was either withdrawals/retreats in the first stages of the war or tactical re-positioning.
So - in a way, I sort of understand the delusions of the WNU Author and those who follow in the support for Russia. I understand from the same point of view as to how a parent may act if their child did something wrong. Some parents will defend their child even if they are in the wrong. Some are flat out ideologically corrupted and morally corrupted - which is easy to tell because they are the ones putting forward incoherent arguments that border extremism and threats.
Or maybe it's a combination of everything.
"To essentially use Ukraine as a platform and meat grinder to weaken Russia."
It is likely too late now.
"President Biden kept his son Hunter’s alleged business associate Yelena Baturina off the list of new sanctions he announced Friday against prominent Russians to mark the first anniversary of the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine."
Putin could have Yelena Baturina hold a news conference and tell the world she paid Hunter/Joe a bribe to stay off the sanctions list.
The attourney general "I Merit A. Garland" has just appointed a corrupt lawyer, Weiss, as special counsel to investigate Hunter. It is the same lawyer that offered Hunter a sweetheart deal. The purpose of the appointment is for Weiss to slow walk the investigation and then come up with a nothing burger. In the meantime everyone in the Biden MALadministraiotn is shielded from answering questions, because that would interfere with and jeopardize the investigation.
A news conference by Yelena would throw a money wrench not the slow walking by "I Merit A. Garland"
Of course the Legacy Media would ignore or downplay it. It is why you would have to come clean and play several other cards. It has to be a blitz like and armor attack to cut throw the wall the legacy Media will try to put up.
Coming clean does hurt Russia, but many people know and suspect various information space activities by Russia anyway. That is already factored not (the market) polls.
You have to figure if the truth hurts Russia more or the corrupt administration of Joe Biden.
Those $40,000 to $80,000 in Facebook ad buys by Russia were effective. They were effective in giving the Democrats a talking point. Other Russian information space endeavors against the US are probably equally ineffective. The truth would serve better.
It really has not helped to have a weak person in the White House. All sorts of power brokers and courtiers can do stuff in his name and escape blame if it goes south. HOW IS THAT GOING FOR RUSSIA? Joe Biden who cannot mentally calculate very well nowadays is fine with the state of things. He gets the capstone achievement in the cursus honorum and can use presidential power to keep himself and his son out of power. Oh and few years he gets a presidential send off as if he were a great and honorable statesman. What happens to country after that? He doesn't care.
It has worked really well paying bribes to Biden. The Russians have the receipts and refuse to show them.
Europe will be flooded with high end cars/women bearing ....yes you guessed right ..number plates the only escalation will be what has been going on up to now massive escalation of moneys out the back door .........sigh seen the movie way too many times
sod off prepuce
The sanctions have not had their desired effect. I thought targeted sanctions were smart instead of a blanket sanctions hurting the middle class and poor of another country.
What happened? It gave an opening for a corrupt politician to make more illicit money.
It also allows a foreign intelligence service to get its hooks into said corrupt politician.
While RICO cases are nothing new in Fulton County, experts say pursuing such a case against a former president would be unprecedented.
Trump could face "big picture" RICO case in Georgia, expert says
Four sources with knowledge of the matter, several witnesses, and Trump allies who’ve appeared before the special counsel — including at least one in the past few days — team seem to agree: Powell should be preparing now for Smith to bring criminal charges.
On Monday, Bernie Kerik — a longtime Rudy Giuliani associate and a Trump ally who worked on the Giuliani-led legal team challenging Trump’s 2020 defeat — sat with special counsel investigators for a roughly four-and-a-half-hour interview, according to his lawyer Tim Parlatore. (Parlatore previously served as a top attorney to Trump, advising the ex-president on Special Counsel Smith’s probes.)
Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office wants to put former President Donald Trump on trial for his attempted coup in January next year—a move that, if approved by a judge, could brand him a felon before the biggest GOP presidential primaries.
In a filing on Thursday, the special counsel’s office proposed a trial date of January 2, 2024, which they say would take “no longer than four to six weeks.”
It's crazy how people just keep believing what they want to believe, despite the evidence to the contrary. I guess some people can't get enough of war. It's crazy, it's sad, it's disheartening.

Is a putrid liar.
He is a racist fascist jackass. Lies. And more lies ..let's just take one
The search for peace..
1 Who negotiated in bad faith during the minsk agreements?
2 Who gave more and more ample warnings in Nov and Dec of 2021 of a pending war and wanted negotiations to stop the conflict.. The Russians even drew up a new peace security settlement.
3. Who sent Boris Johnson to Ukraine in a surprise visit in April of 2022?to scupper the peace negotiations?
5 lastly who had their own Peace negotiator shot, because he really was trying to find common ground.
But here is what the liar would have you believe:
"It's easy to forget that Russia has never made any such attempt at ceasing hostilities, pulling back its troops or given any serious considerations for peace...."
See the lie. He would have you forget what the historical facts are.
This all I am going to comment on right now. I would have no problem destroying the rest of his lies .
He is delusional?
No, he is not .this is Chris or one of his fellow gs4s doing his daily routine.
They are unamerican trolls without a spit worth of Patriotism.
They would have our country and it's people on its knees as slaves to the progressive liberal perverted monster.
The world will be a better place once these neocons fail. Maybe then we can have peace and fix the problems at home.
Hopefully before it is too late.
To 2:12 etc you make NO sense. Maybe you have a hard on for WNU Editor, IDk, but all you spout are talking points and opinion. You have no facts to back up you wacko comments.....post some facts or stfu please. And NOBODY wants to read an hour long rambling post..
Frederick R. Lapides got his licks on 3:00, 3:03 & 3:05 PM. Fred presented with an acute case of TDS and a few other diseases.
ah, mommy's staling baby again names a person and has not the guts to use his own name...fucking still sucking mommy's teats and spewing hate to try to bolster his lows standing in life. Get a life, retard. Try couples counseling: you and mommy.
Prosecutor Jack shit is charging Trump under the Enron law. that is Jack shit is alleging that Trump destroyed video tape from his home security system before there was a subpoena for it.
Businesses typically have a records retention time period determined by law or by what they think are best practices. I believe banks have to keep video surveillance records for 6 months. After the retention time is met, business as matter of good practiced destroy or erase the videos. So erasing videos is nor proof of a crime or criminal intent.
Then there is Hillary and Huma Abedin destroyed phones (private or government property). Were they charged under the Enron law? Hell, no.
Who represented Huma? Chutkhan.
who is the judge giving Trump the 5th degree? Chutkhan.
It is a set up.
It might not be clear to you, but it is clear to me and others. The American Republic Fell.
You do realize that Octavian was voted as consul by the Senate. Connect the dots. Your brain has the computing power, but you are running malware, so You will never connect the dots. Ever.
It might not be clear to you, but it is clear to me and others. The American Republic Fell.
I am not a crackpot.
Hey Fred how long have been saying they were going to get Trump? How long?
Dems are trying t0o put the fix in.
Obama-Appointed Judge Tanya Chutkan’s Former Law Firm Represented Huma Abedin in Clinton Email Server Investigation – Page Now Deleted Online
Octavian is acknowledged as the 1st emperor. He did not call himself emperor. The Senate voted him as consul not for the usual 1 year terms but for 5 and 10 year terms (Kind of like Putin changing the constitution and getting extra terms ad infinitum). Octavian is also know as Augustus aka the 1st Roman Emperor. Historian often describe it it as thus. the government under Octavian/Augustus had the "from" of a Republic, but it was an empire.
The USA has the form of a Republic, but it is not. This goes a long way to explaining the 2-tier justice system. That is actually not a surprise if you realize, the US is no longer a republic.
I do not know, if 9:02 is laughing with me or sarcastically at me. IDK & IDC.
I do know I gave a historical example, which I believe is on the money. I also would argue that what XI, Putin and the Democrats did is inevitable. Machiavelli would argue the same. there is the Iron Law of Oligarchy as stated by sociologist Robert Michels.
What I expect from Fred, is for him to deny what I stated and to do so without a cogent argument.
People might want to study Tammany Hall. It was covered in middle school social studies. sure we all 'learned' the lesson. but damn it is a more important example than is appreciated.
Tammany Hall sprang from Tammany Societies. Did the society look like in 18732 like it was in 1800. Why not? A sociologist would know the answer.
It reminds me a lot of how decision get made in committee.
Former US Senator and Foreign Diplomat Threatened to “Kick the Sh*t” Out of Joe Biden for Groping His Wife

Zelenski made a speech yesterday about Crimea that was his most delusional since last week's SkyShield fable. So I conclude things must be going really badly for Ukraine now, because the levels of absurd bullshit are reaching new heights.
Forget about swimming in Crimea, that was just some minor bragging. Next week he will announce Ukrainian tanks are approaching Moscow.
Hunter? maybe
Biden? maybe
Trump? you bet
3 indictments and the 4 this coming week
tip: most federal indictments get a guilty plea. When they don't most defendants are found guilty. Why? Prosecutors do not want to lose and so are very sure of what they present will win. And the largest number of their federal cases do win.
The chances of Trump beating 4 cases?
the chance of Trump being found guilty and winning the election to pardon himself? very slim if found guilty.
and so it goes--the loser loses.
So the more corrupt and criminal you are the more likely to receive help from the west.
Reality check:
we can speculate or comment about Hunter and Joe. But why ignore the present sure reality? the leading GOP candidate will have 4 trials for serious crimes. Those crimes will be in court with judges being some appointed by Trump and some by Biden. The juries will be a mix of all kinds and therefore neutral.
We simply do not know what will or might take place with Hunter and with Joe or just Hunter. That speculation is simply abstract. We do know what is coming soon, very soon, for Trump and the GOP candidate, though the candidate might be changed as events warrant.
So Fred skedaddled, bugged out.
In his place we have a troll trying to twist the knife.
The Deep State has been trying to get Trump for 6 or 7 years and have not got him yet. So seemingly he defies gravity. However, with so many resources brought to bear over such a long time, you would assume the odds are against him. We shall see.
The people who investigate fraud for insurance companies and other business are not impressed with the ruling of various judges and the flatulence of the media about the 2020 election. They know the score.
The prosecution of Trump is as fair as the dust up between Marius and Sulla or Pompey and Caesar.
You know what happened to the 1st prince of the 1st empire? You should ponder that one.
As Mencken said a troll like you should get what you want good and hard without lube.
Love your trolling BTW.
The accuracy of the Kh-47 Kinzhal is found to be worse than that of Soviet missiles from the 1960s, and the circular probable deviation during a launch at long range is measured in kilometers

You offer sneers, innuendo etc but not one proof of what is taking place. you call it a fraud? show proof. It is the American legal system!
Insjurance investigators? they are company men and have nothing to do with federal and state judicial systems.
now sneer again and of course not offer substantiation for what you claim.
So much for Putin's WunderWaffe!
"Of course, this does not make the Kh-47 Kinzhal completely safe when the enemy uses it within a known range. Moreover, it greatly reduces its overall effectiveness.
Furthermore, the kremlin assigned great tasks to this development in terms of destroying elements of the US missile defense. However, as practice shows, the Kh-47 Kinzhal is unlikely to be capable of this, because, firstly, it can be intercepted by the Patriot PAC 3 system. Secondly, it does not provide the required accuracy. This accuracy is also necessary even in the case of a nuclear strike, as it involves hitting well-protected launchers."
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
"Insjurance investigators? they are company men and have nothing to do with federal and state judicial systems."
You really do not understand math do you?
So you got the sheepskin by taking a BS major and now you want the good life of a technocrat and not the life of a farmhand , factory worker, or Russian meat shield. So here you are.
You were born in the wrong country dude. If yo were born in the US, you could get your BS major and get rich by giving DEI seminars.
What can I say, you lost the lucky sperm lottery.
Insurance investigators? they are company men
You sure about the fact they are company men?
They could be company women.
They could be an outside business that has to show clients results.
When they said they tackled a particular type of fraud, you go "yah, right." and then you remember that a decade or so ago that type of fraud was in the news. Now, no longer.
You might want to check your privilege prick. You are not that smart.
"Russia is competing with Western countries to supply weapons to Ukraine," Col. Oleksandr Saruba told Deutsche Welle."
fraud invetigators have nothing to do with a federal case against Trump. Nor to do with Georgia vote stealing attempt. Nor with financial illegal activities in NY. Nor with urging a mob to attack to Capitol. fraud is for people like you, a true fraud.
Deal with the issue I noted and not with some horseshit you dig up in your trailer park.
" Hunter Biden’s Kazakh oligarch business partner helped supply armored vehicles to Putin-backed forces that invaded Ukraine, report claims
With LUCK we get rid of Biden, Putin, American progs and foreign trolls
With the legal system we get rid of trump forever!
4 indictments. what are the odds of his beating all 4? and pardons? not in NY and Georgia: only federal crimes can a president pardon. Send him a saw in some cake you bake.
Ruby Freeman is on tape stealing the vote in Georgia.
FrauD investigator have know the techniques which are backed by science/math that can prove fraud in insurance claims, car crash rings, or voting fraud. the names of the object change but the methods are the same.
That some judge ruled there was no fraud merely tells the public which party or faction is ascendant.
Here you are as a volunteer or minor functionary hoping to get some scraps thrown your way.
What was you highest level of math? Pre-algebra or geometry ..if you were lucky.
"Nor with urging a mob to attack to Capito"
There you go with a lie. Trump said to et their voices be heard and to do so "peacefully" and "respectfully"
Jack Shit left that out of his court brief.
the jury will decide what went on: not you. The Grand Jury decided a full trial was called for. period.
Republican presidential hopeful and former Texas Rep. Will Hurd ripped into former President Trump on Friday, calling him a “liar,” “loser” and “national security threat.”
Hurd, who has been sharply critical of the former president throughout his campaign, argued on PBS’ “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover” that the GOP needs to “be honest” about Trump if they want to win the 2024 presidential election.
And maybe it will be a West Virginian jury to negate Jack Shit's jury shopping. In which case you will be hopping mad.
Out of 2,000 or so national level Republicans you can find a percentage of 10% to 30% who are scared or turncoats. So citing Republicans you expect to be persuasive?
The FBI literally went to Georgia and took custody of ballots. Then they shredded them. If it was evidence to prove the Democrat Party's point, why shred them?
Hurd wanted to go into Syria and Libya like we did Afghanistan. I question Hurd's overall wisdom and competence. I also question his sexuality.
Also, Hurd runs from hard fights. If he is classified as a RINO, it would not be a shocker. The guy is jot a fighter but maybe he would be willing to engage in a slap fight for charity on pay per view.
Lmfao ..good one
Almost as ridiculous as Putins speech justifying his invasion , but not as ridiculous or optimistic as the briefings Putins Generals gave him at the start of the special op lol
Hurd had a very tough reelection last time around. He won by 629 votes. I think that decided it for him.
For a congressional retirement, if I read correctly you need 3 full terms or 6 years. Hurd has that. Since Hurd is vested in the congressional retirement system, the next fight would be grueling, he decided to pack it in and work someplace else.
So Hurd might be basically a good man, he does not at 1st blush appear to be a fighter. If odds were even I would -probably count on him in a fight. If the odds were say 3 to 1 or longer, I would not count on him.
Is he gay? Not for sure. But who gets married at 43 or 44 for the 1st time? Generally, if you want to get married you have figured that out by the time you left high school. And generally, if you want to raise family, you don't wait for black balloons.
It might be that he wants to get super established so he can get a perfect all around 10. That seems rather special as in he is all that and a bag of chips.
Hurd did work under cover. Respectable. At least I think so. It says in his bio he spent most of his 9 years in the CIA in Washington. That is pretty safe unless you are Seth Rich. So how much time did he spend undercover? 6 months? 1 year? 3 years?
What does under cover mean? the CIA guys I saw n country lived in a tent inside a military base in country. they were pointed out by another soldier as we drove by. The spook had a barbeque going. so what does undercover mean/Were those guys undercover, because they occasionally ventured forth under assumed names? that would still be dangerous since, the military camp was probably surveilled. but it would not be continually James Bond dangerous as they might want you to believe.
And yes I question Hurd's wisdom of going into Syria and Libya like we did in Afghanistan. I believe the US could succeed if we did that, but I do not think it is likely. the ground work at home was not done. it would be easier because there would be no Pakistan stabbing us in the back. Egypt and turkey might or would try. I think those borders are easier to monitor. Also we would not have to pay Turkey or Egypt to attack us like we did with Pakistan. Those two countries are accessible from the sea.
However, to go in without the required spadework is foolhardy. We owed Assad to go after him. Qaddaffi we did wrong. We had an agreement with him and we broke it.
