Zero Hedge: NATO Prepares For Biggest Military Exercise Since Cold War, And Close To Russia
The upcoming Steadfast Defender NATO war drills, set for early 2024, are expected to be the biggest military exercises in Europe since the end of the Cold War, the Financial Times is reporting Monday.
At a moment the war in Ukraine grows more and more unpredictable, given neither Russia nor the West have shown any signs of backing down, the FT writes that "Nato is preparing its biggest live joint command exercise since the cold war next year, assembling more than 40,000 troops to practice how the alliance would attempt to repel Russian aggression against one of its members."

There is no military exercise along the borders of a country already at war.
First, Crimea des not belong to Russia.
Second, Russia is not at war. Russia is engaged in a special military operation. How dare the blogger contradict maximum leader Putin!
War has already come to Romania. Russian drones are falling out of the sky.

On a more serious note. The war plan they use...will be the template they use if they ever attack. They are doing a test to smooth out the friction points.
Putin is as much of a piss ant as the American Congress. Congress has not declared war since WW2.
Putin did not declare war before invading Ukraine, because like congress he is a pussy. he would rather not do the messy business of convincing the public beforehand.
Is Putin not much different than Macron? Putin did his macho judo demonstration. Macron rappelled from a helicopter to Macron.
Judo takes actual physical effort, intelligence and agility. Being lowered by rope from a helicopter does not. So points for Putin. However, he must be close to Macron level of wimphood, if there are questions. The barechested pics of him on horseback are pretty close to Macronhood.

If you add the Tatars and the Ukrainians, they outnumber the Russians.
The Tatars are a wild card. I figure they have been discriminated against by both Russian and Ukrainian. what matter sis hw much. Any poll or vote taking place in Russia is suspect, but that is they way it is pretty much world over.
