VOA: All 31 Abrams Tanks in Ukraine, US Military Confirms to VOA
PENTAGON — All 31 U.S.-made M1A1 Abrams tanks promised to Kyiv by the Biden administration have arrived in Ukraine, according to the U.S. military.
Col. Martin O’Donnell, a spokesman for U.S. Army Europe and Africa, told VOA that all of the Ukrainians who trained on the tanks with U.S. forces in Germany have also returned to Ukraine, along with ammunition and spare tank parts.
“We have lived up to our end of the bargain. From this point forward, it is up to them [Ukraine] to determine when and where they will deliver this capability,” O’Donnell said.

WNU Editor: Will 31 US Abrams tanks make a difference in the Russia - Ukraine war? I doubt it.

They won't win the war but will take 100 Russian plus tanks out, Nd if used in a localised break through with challengers and Leo's will be formidable
Waste of equipment on a lost war. I doubt it'll be the last batch too.
Only 6 Leo's have actually been totally lost. Firing on the move at distance at night is where the advantage is huge
UKR needs to up-armor the Abrams' with "cope cages". Hardened barriers affixed to the turret to pre-detonate drone bombs.

Weren’t we making fun of those Cope cages when they first rolled out on Russian armour?
The tanks will burn.

I forgot. It will be like the battle of 73 easting,. Is that not what was predicted also for the 4 June Ukrainian Offensive? Wait.....

I don't remember poking fun at them or even the Russians employing them. But the concept has been around for 20 years. Remember all the cages mounted on US MRAPS in AFG. They wont protect against a Javelin, but they will protect against an RPG or a drone dropped charge.
When armour meets I will, so far the Bradley's have been smashing t72s lol, and surviving direct t72 hits.
Wait..the war finished to months ago because ukraine was spent. Lol
You lie. A Bradley infantry fighting vehicle can kill a T72, It was made to do so with the TOW system.
But to survive a "direct hit" from 125 mm. No way. You are lying.
I have to agree the only way a Bradley could survive a hit from a T72 is if it had DU armor and there is no such animal.
But the title on the grainy propaganda video said it happened!
Don't be lazy, the video is out there . It depends on distance , angle and whete it hit.

Need new glasses lol, obviously it wouldn't take a sabot, HE frag round is a different beast

Woth the original aluminium armour youre correct with the additional spaced laminate kit the Bradley is a different beast , and obviously the round used by the tank plays a huge role to the outcome
But the question becomes, did it happen?
Second question, the poster made Bradleys surviving a direct hit from a 125mm to seem it happens a lot. Does it? No.
And what type of brads are they talking about? Last time I checked the Ukrainians were given the ODS model and a few earlier gens. There is no way that one of these is going to survive that type of hit, unless the hand of God is on the side of that crew. Which, one chance in a 1000 it may be true.
