Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says Israel-Hamas war is a 'worldwide problem' posing 'immediate threat' to US Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Sunday deemed China, Russia and Iran the new "axis of evil" amid wars in Ukraine and Israel, while addressing U.S. funding of allies' responses to those duel conflicts.
In a new sit-down interview with "Fox News Sunday" host Shannon Bream, McConnell, the highest-ranking Senate Republican, agreed with fellow Republican Kentuckian Sen. Rand Paul that the $1.5 trillion deficit is "entirely too big."
But while Paul remarked last month that the U.S. under the Biden administration was borrowing heavily from China just to send aid to Ukraine, McConnell instead emphasized Sunday that the deficit also expanded during the prior administration under former President Donald Trump.

Damn straight. What a brain dead moron. Hope he dies soon.
Mitch McConnell is know as the Turtle. If Mitch said it, he must have determined through conversations with others on Capitol Hill that most lawmakers believe this. Thus it is politically safe for him to utter it.
If a registered Republican voter despises RINOs, you know they despise McConnell. It is to say that McConnell has less than a 3rd of the confidence of Kentucky voters and less than 1/2 of Republican voters.
McConnel was despised as far back as 2016 and before. He has had one saving grace. He shepherded Trump's judicial nominees through the Senate. Otherwise, people have hatted McConnell as long as they have hated Boehner, Cantor, Paul Ryan and others.
His pronouncement is not a leading indicator. War is already here. It is needed to be seen in the budget. It is not.
So, North Korea gets a pass?
